Adapted from Robert Jordan's fourth book The Shadow Rising, Prime Video is ready to drop The Wheel of Time Season 3, and the fans are eagerly waiting to return to the fantasy world. The focal point of the series is a struggle between evil and good as a dark force named Dark One keeps on tormenting the world.

The Wheel of Time traces the life of Moiraine, a strong woman and member of the mystical Aes Sedai group. It is believed that one among five young villagers such as Rand al'Thor, Perrin Aybara, Mat Cauthon, Egwene al'Vere, and Nynaeve al'Mearais is the foretold Dragon Reborn. This powerful being possesses great power and may save or destroy the world, making it all the more important to know who they are.

The show premiered on Prime Video in 2021 with just eight episodes in seasons one and two. Likewise, the next installment will have an eight-episode run, with the first three episodes dropping on March 13, 2025.

As the search for the long-foretold Dragon Reborn starts, the team faces various challenges, like fighting monstrous animals that are loyal to the Dark One, a city that is cursed and has dark abilities, and so on.

Along the way, the protagonists begin to wonder whether they are the Dragon Reborn, and the enigma leads them to the Eye of the World, where they have to face the impending shadow of the Dark One.

Season 2 established that Rand al'Thor is the Dragon Reborn, and now he's gearing up for more. Read more to find out about the episode release plan for the new season.
