While Two Rivers prepares for its next battle, with Whitecloaks preparing for war, there are betrayals, surprises, and fierce battles throughout this episode, which paves the way for a dramatic showdown in the next two episodes.

Liandrin's origins and power struggles in The Wheel of Time Season 3 Episode 6

The Wheel of Time Season 3 Episode 6 begins with a flashback of Liandrin's captivity before she was an Aes Sedai. In a dungeon, she gives birth to a child but is compelled to kill her captors to free herself. She roams the streets and is disregarded until she meets Ishamael, who inducts her as a Darkfriend.

This indicates that Liandrin's loyalty to the Forsaken started before she was at the White Tower. In the present, Lanfear forces Liandrin to prove her loyalty to the Forsaken by identifying a spy working for Rahvin. Liandrin suspects Nyomi and kills her after extracting information.

However, she soon realizes that the true spy is someone else. Before the informant can report to Rahvin, Moghedien intervenes, killing them and confronting Liandrin. She asserts dominance and humiliates Liandrin before shifting her focus to Nynaeve and Elayne.

In The Wheel of Time Season 3 Episode 6, Elayne, Nynaeve, Mat, and Min look for the collar that can command Rand. Along the way, they travel to the perilous streets of Tanchico, where Mat meets up with an unexpected encounter with Thom Merrilin. Thom assists them when Elayne is mistaken as the Andor heir, making a distraction by saying that she is a fake who claims to be royalty.

To sell the illusion, they sing a song, making the moment a public display. Subsequently, a contact comes up to the group, giving them one of the bracelets that are part of the collar. Thom describes that there are two bracelets, and each is worn by an Aes Sedai capable of controlling the collared channeler's power.

That evening, Nynaeve and Elayne are attacked by Moghedien, who easily overwhelms them. Under her magic, they reveal their assignment, giving away the information of their search. Moghedien steals the bracelet, wipes their memories of the encounter, and departs them frightened and bewildered.

In The Wheel of Time Season 3 Episode 6, she enters the world of dreams but is immediately ambushed by Lanfear, who taunts her by reminding her that Rand has been aware of her abuse.

Enraged, Egwene returns to the physical world, determined to face Rand straight. She questions whether Rand loves Lanfear, but his evasive and cryptic answer only widens the gap between them. Their quarrel continues, compelling them to realize their love life is collapsing.

Before they manage to sort things out, Sammael attacks Rand, resulting in a devastating fight. Rand releases his colossal power, resulting in an explosion that kills Alsera, a young girl he had attached himself to. Horrified, he struggles to revive her with his powers but fails, realizing that even his power is limited.

War comes to Two Rivers in The Wheel of Time Season 3 Episode 6

In Two Rivers, the people recover from their latest fight as they prepare for the upcoming battle with the Whitecloaks. Perrin, who is still hurt, is taken care of by Faile, and their bond becomes stronger as they exchange histories about their pasts.

Perrin shares his sorrow over his deceased wife, while Faile talks about her family and how she has also struggled. In the meantime, Mat's sisters show a surprising talent for channeling, which is essential in curing Alanna. This revelation further convinces Alanna that the future army she is looking for is in Two Rivers.

But the danger is still there as the Whitecloaks are reinforced by Dain Bornhald. With an entire army now at his disposal, Bornhald is ready to make another attack, paving the way for a full-scale war.
