The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live marks the seventh installment of AMC’s massively popular horror franchise. The post-apocalyptic drama tells the story of the survivors of The Walking Dead.

Rick Grimes and Michonne, the husband and wife duo who got separated during the events of the original series, try to find their way back to each other. In their endeavor, they come across various threats and challenges.

Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles as Rick and Michonne, respectively, in the spin-off show and are joined by some fresh faces. Here is the complete The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live cast and character guide.

1) Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes

Andrew Lincoln returns as Rick Grimes in the new show, after playing the protagonist of The Walking Dead for nine seasons. The former sheriff was presumed dead but was actually recruited by the Civic Republic Military as a soldier.

The CRM is a military operation that protects the Civic Republic of Philadelphia. While Rick seems to have lost hope of ever returning to his family, he is unaware that his wife is going through a tough time searching for him.

Apart from The Walking Dead franchise, Lincoln is also known for his performances in the shows Strike Back, Afterlife, Shipwrecked, and Teachers. His film credits include Love Actually, These Foolish Things, and Penguin Bloom.

2) Danai Gurira as Michonne

Danai Gurira, who left The Walking Dead in season 10, reprises her role as Michonne in The Ones Who Live. Known for her zombie-killing skills using a katana, Michonne is the leader of the Safe Zone in Alexandria.

After finding a clue about her husband Rick’s survival, she heads out on a mission to find him and bring him back to his kids. Gurira is a Zimbabwean-American actress who is also recognized for playing Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

3) Pollyanna McIntosh as Jadis Stokes/Anne

Pollyanna McIntosh was introduced in the original series as Jadis Stokes/Anne, an enemy of Rick. After appearing in the spin-off series World Beyond, she is once again back in the franchise with The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

Jadis was also presumed dead with Rick after their helicopter went missing. She now works as a warrant officer in the CRM. McIntosh is also famous for her roles as Queen Ælfgifu of Denmark in Vikings: Valhalla and Dalia in Outer Banks.

4) Terry O’Quinn as Jonathan Beale

Terry O’Quinn joins the TWD franchise as Jonathan Beale, the Major General of the CRM in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Beale is not afraid of bloodshed due to his war experience in Vietnam. He goes against Rick and Michonne with his strict personality.

O'Quinn is a veteran actor who has appeared in several films and shows. Some of his television credits include Syfy’s Resident Alien, CBS’ FBI: Most Wanted, and ABC’s Lost. He has been seen in the movies Unsung Hero, Blind Fury, and Heaven's Gate.

5) Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne

Lesley-Ann Brandt stars as Pearl Thorne, Rick’s friend and fellow in the CRM. She serves as a command sergeant major in the military organization. However, instead of worrying about her fate, she takes the challenge head-on and considers it an opportunity for growth in life.

Brandt is known for playing Mazikeen in Netflix’s Lucifer, Lamia in TNT’s The Librarians, and Naomi Cox in VH1’s Single Ladies.

6) Craig Tate as Donald Okafor

Craig Tate plays Donald Okafor in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. He is a former Air Force pilot who now serves as Lieutenant Colonel in the CRM. He is senior to Rick and is responsible for saving his life.

Okafor wants to change the military organization and seeks Rick and Thorne’s help for it. Tate has previously been seen in the shows Aquarius, Shameless, Ravenswood, and I'm a Virgo.

7) Matthew Jeffers as Nat

Matthew Jeffers portrays Nat, an amateur chemist who decides to join Michonne in her mission to find Rick. He is a survivor of the zombie apocalypse who now moves with a nomadic group and keeps them together.

Jeffers is known for starring as Dr. Mark Walsh in NBC’s New Amsterdam. He has also appeared in the shows The Blacklist, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and FBI.
