The Voice Season 27 returns on NBC on February 3, 2025. The reality competition series features a panel of celebrity coaches who train contestants picked from all across the country through audition. The aim is to find America's next great singer, with the winner taking home a record deal and US$ 100,000.
Throughout the show, we have seen the celebrity panel guiding their team in a bid to ensure their contestants win the competition. On season 26, Coach Snoop Dogg won many fans as a mentor but his contract was for one season only. He has dropped hints about his return but there has been no official confirmation from NBC yet.
Rather, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, Kelsea Ballerini, and John Legend comprise the new coaching panel for Season 27 while Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, and Gwen Stefani make way. Bublé was a coach on Season 26, too.

The Voice Season 27 Details
Carson Daly is set to return as host on Season 27. Addressing the media about the show before Season 26 was about to premiere. He said,
"People thought [The Voice] was never gonna work, and not only did it work, but it's lasted for 25 seasons. So I think that's really the crazy part is that it's staying power that we've been able to keep an audience interested, and tweak the show and let the format evolve by adding steals and those little features that kind of make it exciting again. Every time it's on, it feels fresh"
Adam Levine and John Legend are returning coaches, having been on the full-time coaching panel in the past while Kelsea Ballerini has been a part-time coach.
Filming for the new season started earlier this year in 2024. An Instagram post shared by Adam Levine during the first week of filming suggests that the coaches are having fun. In another post, Levine said to fans,
Season 27, yes, I'm coming back; I'm so excited. I cannot wait. I'm well rested. I'm ready to go. I'm a little nervous — I'm not nervous — but I'm so excited. It's going to be great, and I can't wait. It's going to be awesome, let's go! Team Adam is back!"
Why Was Adam Away From the Voice?
Adam Levine decided to take a break from The Voice to spend time with his family. The last we saw Levine was on season 16. It was shocking for fans to see him go at that point because he had been associated with the show from day one.
It was later confirmed that Maroon 5 frontman Levine wanted to spend time with his growing family. He has been married to Behati Prinsloo for 10 years and the couple has three kids together. In an interview, Levine shared his feelings about his family and career.
"I don't know how you can have a better life. I'm lucky enough to do what I love professionally, but also have the greatest personal life and family I could ever ask for. And having kids and a wonderful wife, and just that life that I cling so much to. I love it so much. It means more than my career. But at the same time, having both is just a gift."
With coaches such as Adam Levine and John Legend returning to the big red chairs, Season 27 seems all set to be unmissable.
