The Voice Season 26 finale part 1: Sydney Sterlance's performances explored

During The Voice Season 26 finale part 1, Sydney Sterlace's final performances included the popular song Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and the iconic singer Gracie Abrams's I Love You, I'm Sorry.

The judges appreciated the 16-year-old from Team Gwen's rendition of I Love You, I'm Sorry. For her performance, Coach Gwen Stefani shared,

"I am fulfilling my dream. To work with somebody like you who's so gifted and just so natural but also growing before my eyes on the show. It's such a joy to get to know you. Also, to be at the very beginning of something that's going to be so huge, I'm just so honored."

On the other hand, Coach Snoop Dogg mentioned the finalist's appearance and said she looked like she was part of the movie Wicked.

For Sydney's second performance, which was Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars, Gwen Stefani told her,

"This has been my dream to work with you. I am so happy you chose me to be your coach. Your voice is so beautiful and angelic. Watching you up there and taking a song like that -- it's very specific a song and you kept building it and building it. I don't know how you're doing it but I'm so proud of you."

Coach Reba McEntire shared how many individuals would look at Sydney as an example. She also shared how she was hoping for the finalist that she would use her "voice" towards becoming a good example.

Fans must remember Sydney's blind audition, which was a four-chair-turn performance. She was 15 back then, and now, with her talent and impressive voice, she has reached the height of a singing competition and is merely a turn away from the show's finale.

After witnessing her fantastic performance in the Battles round alongside Sloane Simon, Coach Gwen Stefani shared that she had to go with Sydney. The reason behind that was,

"The fact that she's 15 and she can take care of the lyrics and she's so dynamic, when she's on it's amazing, and she really did grow from rehearsals."

Later, Coach Snoop predicted the Knockouts round on The Voice Season 26, seeing her grow and deliver even more amazing performances. He mentioned that with the "sound like her," she can "win the show." All the fans who support Sydney Sterlace will soon learn the result of the singing competition.
