The Voice Season 26 finalist Shye has become one of the fan-favorite artists on the singing reality show. Fans are also rooting for Shye to be among the top three competitors, along with fellow contestant Sydney Sterlace.
She and four other contestants were revealed as the "finalists," and her fans were overjoyed. The Voice Season 26 finale episode on NBC will air on December 9 and 10, 2024.
Shye's NBC bio describes her as:
"In 2010, Shye's life was profoundly impacted when her mother, Sheila, suffered a severe injury at work, causing her scoliosis to worsen and leading to multiple surgeries and extended hospital stays.

"Geology enthusiast" Shey performed "Superman (It's Not Easy)" during the show's blind audition. After Gwen Stefani pressed the buzzer, all the other three judges followed her.
For Shye's performance, Coach Reba shared,
"Your voice is like butter. It is just so rich and creamy. I just loved it. Then it was a great surprise to hear you go on up with that powerfulness in your voice. I won last season and I would love to have you on the winning Team Reba."
After the judges showed interest in adding the brilliant participant to their teams, Shye joined Team Bublé.
"There was so much goodness pouring out of her, that I was taken aback. Shye had a really unique and sultry voice and I felt instantly that she had great potential in the music industry," shared Michael Bublé.

During The Voice Season 26 Episode 9, Shye competed against Jamison Puckett and performed Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," which the coaches appreciated.
"I see Shye having a ton of potential because she just has that special of a voice... Honestly, I hear Adele. She just literally blew me away. I think she has a great future in this business," shared Michael Bublé.
While Gwen Stefani shared,
"The problem for me was Shye is 17-years-old and I cannot believe what you just did. It seems like you have zero nerves. The whole time I'm just sitting here going, 'Okay, 1987, No Doubt, I was 17.' I couldn't have done that and it's just so cool to watch."
After The Voice Season 26 Semi-Finals round revealed the Top 5 contestants, they were:

The fans and viewers chose the finalists through their votes. Contestants with the most votes advanced further on the show towards winning the competition.
The finalists will deliver their last performance during the show's finale episodes.
