The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 finale: What happened in the episode?

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale: Zaina and J.R

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 finale, titled Ultimatum Day, started with five hours left until the "ultimatum." J.R. entered the experiment with his partner, Zaina, and met Sandy.

He was in a trial marriage with Sandy, who entered the experiment with her partner Nick. Sandy and J.R. sat down and discussed their time on the experiment.

Zaina, on the other hand, reflected on her trial marriage with Scotty and referred to it as "crash and burn." The couple met to "face the big decision."

"Looking back, I'm like, "That was stupid." You're just looking for a commitment. I apologize for casting doubt on you and using my past relationships to judge you before even giving you a chance," shared J.R.

Later, he mentioned that he wasn't "at that point" to give all that Zaina deserved. He said the "right decision" was to leave single from The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale: Mariah and Caleb

Caleb mentioned his trial marriage with Aria was full of "revelations" about himself. Mariah confessed that Caleb had been the one with whom she felt the "love." She talked about her trial marriage with Micah and how he left the experiment.

The duo met and discussed how The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On has allowed them to "grow."

"I think that any chance to grow is worth it," shared Caleb.

Mariah told her partner she would "love to spend" forever with him. She felt "very eager" and "excited" to create a life with Caleb. Caleb came with a letter because he struggled with "voicing" the things he wanted to share. He then read out loud what he had written. It ended with Caleb asking Mariah:

"If you are ready, can we begin forever?"

After saying yes, Mariah said she was eager to spend "the rest of forever" with Caleb.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale: Sandy and Nick

The next couple to face their "ultimatum" was Sandy and Nick. The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star Nick mentioned that he didn't know what life was without Sandy, and vice versa. He confessed that he was scared of the thought of losing her.

Sandy shared about being "nervous" and not thinking about it "too much," as it was the moment everyone had been anticipating. After they met, Sandy mentioned how the few days had been "a lot of emotions" and felt "peaceful."

The female cast member mentioned that "marriage" felt scary but was "really beautiful." Sandy shared that she learned to trust and let go of the experiment.

"I'm just so deeply in love with you, and I can't imagine ever looking at another face. I can't, you know...I can't fathom that," shared Nick.

However, Sandy mentioned that she was not sure about what to do. When she told him she loved him, Nick mentioned it was insufficient. She told Nick she didn't want to see him "sad."

He said it was not true when she mentioned wanting to "ride in the sunset" with Nick.

"I don't feel your words and your choice match up anymore. I'm not surprised," said Nick.

Sandy mentioned that along with love, she had some "concerns" and hesitations with Nick. She apologized to Nick and told him she didn't want to hurt him in "any way."

While Nick left heartbroken, Sandy stood there alone. She referred to her decision as "the hardest decision" she had ever made.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 finale: Aria and Scotty

Aria and Scotty were the last couple to face an ultimatum on The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 finale. The male cast member referred to the experiment as "eye-opening." He confessed that it was the day that would change the "rest of their lives."

The couple met on the ultimatum day when Scotty felt "a lot." Aria mentioned feeling anxious and nervous. The male cast member initiated the conversation and apologized to Aria for various things. Both of them got emotional while going through the conversation.

"I hope you know that I stayed here for you," mentioned Aria.

Scotty then got on one knee and proposed to Aria, which she accepted. The couple then celebrated their engagement with a toast to the "lifetime" of their togetherness.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 Finale ended with the singles sharing how they will pursue their relationships further. It included Zaina, J.R., Sandy, and Nick. The couples who got engaged, Caleb - Mariah, and Scotty - Aria celebrated and shared how they felt throughout the experiment.
