The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is back on Netflix with yet another season. The show dropped its first five episodes on December 4 and fans have been hooked to the OTT platform ever since.

6 couples entered this season after one of them issued the ultimatum to marry or move on. The show began with each couple introducing themselves to the rest of the group, their story, and the reason why they were on the show. As the show progresses, each person tries to interact with the others to form connections to choose a trial spouse to spend the next three weeks with.

As they explore the new dynamics with their new partners, each couple then reunites with their original partner for another three weeks to find out if they want to marry them, get engaged to someone else, or go back to an empty house.

What happened on The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 Episode 3

Everybody sat down at the big table with Nick and Vanessa Lachey to make their choices for their trial marriages in episode 2. By the end of the episode, three new couples were formed: Scotty & Zaina, Micah & Mariah, and Dave & Chanel.

In the third episode, the conversation continued with 6 people yet to be paired. Here are the choices made in this episode of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On:

J.R. & Sandy

The episode opens with J.R. talking about the connection he has built with Sandy and Aria. However, he ultimately decides to go with Sandy,

"Even though we come from two complete different backgrounds, when we come together, the vibe is there. I love the energy we have."

Sandy reciprocated the feelings to J.R.

Nick & Vanessa

After Nick gets upset with Sandy choosing J.R., Vanessa steps in and talks about how she felt lonely on day one but slowly connected with Nick,

"I just felt like Nick just provided such an elevated platform for me to express myself and truly just be me. Nick, you are somebody that anyone would be lucky to be married to."

Nick also talks about how he feels about this companionship,

"We're fellow weirdos. It's very easy to be around somebody who's also as weird as me."

Caleb & Aria

Aria picked Caleb as she talked about how they both have similar upbringings and how she felt that missing in her previous relationship.

"Aria, I choose you because it wasn't forced. It just came easy. And that's how I think we can both grow through this, because we allow each other to have the space."

Says Caleb as he picks Aria.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On: First night together with trial partners

After making their choices, everyone went home with their 'trial spouses' to spend their first night together. While some couples seemed a little too weird around each other, others seem to have grown out of the awkwardness.

While Mariah & Micah couldn't wave off the awkwardness and went to bed early, Sandy and J.R. ended the night with a kiss. Living with someone new became a little too overwhelming for Chanel, so she went out for a walk at 3 a.m. to clear her head.

Nick seems quite upset after meeting Sandy in the morning and getting to know about the kiss. However, he appears to be a little comfortable with Vanessa as the two share a couple of hugs throughout the episode.
