The Traitors UK Season 3 Episode 5 aired on January 9, 2025. The episode saw new development among the players as some new ones had been appointed, thus creating even more confusion among the existing ones.
The series is hosted by Claudia Winkleman at the Scottish castle, where the players hope to raise and share the prize money of up to £120,000.
All the contestants are called Faithfuls, but hiding behind that mask are some who are traitors. Their target is to steal the prize money for themselves and avoid getting banished.
The traitors meet every other night to discuss a murder. The person who has come under their wrath has to leave overnight. As for the Faithfuls, they are also given a chance to banish the players whom they think are traitors.
This is done through a round table where they come together and discuss who could be a threat to their gameplay. If even one traitor makes it to the finale, they steal the prize money, and the Faithfuls get nothing.
The prize money at the end is raised via a series of missions that the players participate in throughout the season. This also gives them a chance to bond and analyze the behavior of other contestants and make an informed decision during the banishment.
The Traitors UK Season 3 Episode 5 - The Fun House
In Season 3 Episode 5, we saw the players entering a very terrifying fun house. It had weird jokers popping out of nowhere and scaring the contestants.
In one clip from the episode shared on Instagram by BBC, we see Claudia Winkleman getting scared by a joker walking towards her, and she runs away screaming,
"What have you got? No! No! You horrid man."
The joker then proceeded to burst one of the bubbles that she was holding. After seeing that she was afraid, fans took to the comment section to support her by saying,
"Claudia, we are with you, babe. Clowns are scary, and there no two ways about it 😂😂😂"

By the end of this task, the team was able to raise £5,000 for the prize pot. The immunity was won by Leanne and Leon, which would prevent them from getting murdered.
The Traitors UK Season 3 Episode 5 - The Banishment
The players suspect Freddie throughout the episode, but he convinces them to change their minds. This meant Tyler was the target now. The group was also torn between Linda and Lisa.
After the roundtable was over, Tyler got 12 votes, which meant he would be banished from the season. Turns out that he was Faithful. Claudia then talked to the remaining players, saying,
“So faithfuls you’ve done it again, you’ve managed to banish one of your own. I tell you what, the Traitors are smashing it.”
The Traitors UK Season 3 Episode 5 - The new contestants
Two new players entered the castle in Season 3, Episode 5. They are Alexander and Fozia. Both have entered as Faithfuls, although the rest of the players are not aware of it. Alexander used to be a British diplomat, while Fozia works as a community development manager.
We also see that the traitors are not at their full capacity. They are trying to recruit a new player after one of their own, Armani, was banished. They tried their luck with Anna and tempted her to join them.
However, she did not accept their offer. She also did not reveal this conversation to anyone else, which made everyone curious if a new traitor had been appointed or not.
