Netflix aired the Million Dollar Secret finale episodes on April 10, 2025. The eighth episode, titled Get Rich or Lie Trying, featured participants, including Sam, Corey, Cara, and Sydnee. After Sydnee was eliminated, three finalists competed against each other to win one million dollars.

During the final game, based on the previous task results, finalists were given a choice to move their boxes. The twist was that, their fellow finalists won't know who moved which box. For that, Corey moved Cara's box, as he thought Cara was the millionaire.

However, he didn't think of the possibility that Cara might move her box later on when she was given a chance. Ironically, that's what Cara did, and she became the winner, while Million Dollar Secret star Corey didn't win anything.

Corey's strategy for the final game sparked a debate among fans. They went to the social media platform X to share their thoughts on Corey's gameplay.

A fan wrote on X:

"When Corey moved the million in his box, there was no way he could've won. That was the most stupid move. Either Cara or Sam would have won depending on Cara's move coz Cara would never swap her box with Sam's. Happy Cara won but Sam is also deserving. #MillionDollarSecret."

Another fan commented about the final game:

"I didn't quite understand the last episode. Cara had the fastest time then Corey came second. Why did Corey go before Cara in the last and final game?#MillionDollarSecret."

One more Million Dollar Secret fan wrote about Cara switching back the box from Corey, and getting her original box back:

"Corey maybe, just maybe if you switched Sam's box, Cara would have switched hers with your box. You were not smart buddy #MillionDollarSecret."

A netizen wrote about the final game:

"If Sam placed second she'd have swapped her box with Corey. It was never meant to be hers. #Milliondollarsecret."

Another user wrote about the final game and player's strategies:

"The strategy should be picking the opposite of what corey picked cos that man is always wrong #MillionDollarSecret."

A person commented about Corey's reaction to Cara winning and the host revealing details about finalists:

"Corey's face at the end was priceless. 'And she has two sisters' - 'Why are you shocked you're a cop' Bless him, he was never in the game... #MillionDollarSecret."

A Million Dollar Secret fan wrote about Corey's strategy of moving Cara's box:

"Corey, I can't believe you did that! Dude what on earth is that #MillionDollarSecret."

Another user commented about the participants and their assumptions throughout the game show:

"Corey was 2% accurate in his assumptions, Kyle 50-60%, Jamie was self centered and just Sydnee's yes woman, Sydnee was 90% accurate, Sam was 99%, And Cara was 100% correct since the beginning, perfect in every assumption and game move. Nailed it. #MillionDollarSecret."

Million Dollar Secret Finale: Cara won after she moved back her own box from Corey's place

For the Million Dollar Secret's final game, the host, Peter, instructed finalists about the twist. The finale task featured guests, including Cara, Corey, and Sam, as finalists. Their boxes were brought up, and they were standing alongside it.

"The first and second place players, Cara and Corey, will take turns swapping the contents of a single box in private. You both must make a move, even if you do not move the contents of your box. We will go in stages. First, Corey. You can swap your box with Sam or Cara or even Cara's box with Sam's. Then, Cara will have the same opportunity not knowing which boxes Corey has swapped," said Peter.

At first, it was Corey's turn. He decided to swap his box with Cara's. It was because he thought Cara was a millionaire, and her box was full of cash. However, later Cara thought she led Corey to believe she was the millionaire. Hence according to her, Corey must have swapped his box with hers.

With that in mind, Million Dollar Secret star Cara moved her box back from Corey's position. As a result, she got her original box contents back, i.e., one million dollars. Seeing how that would be the most obvious strategy, Corey went with it, and as a result, Cara won.

Reacting to Corey's move, fans of the Netflix show took to the social media platform X to share their thoughts on the male cast member's strategy.
