Comedy drama lovers are literally going to have a virtual treat through Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's The Studio TV series. It will come out on Apple TV+ and explore the absurd and chaotic world of Hollywood.
Interestingly, Rogen will be seen as the main character Matt Remick, who's leading a struggling film studio. As Matt's journey to keep the business afloat begins, he encounters constant challenges to make everyone happy.
He has to deal with actors with big egos who take no time to create drama and get upset. Even the executives are power-hungry, adding to Matt's stress and pressure.
Since The Studio is about actors, executives, and directors, it requires a large cast to bring the story to life. So, Seth Rogen ensured to excite fans with an A-list lineup of guest stars like Antony Starr, Zac Efron, Larry Brown, and more.
The list of guest stars in The Studio is so long that Seth Rogen saw it as a band. In a newly released teaser, the creator says:
"I kind of viewed it like I was putting a band together. I'm a huge fan of Kathryn Hahn. Ike Barinholtz, Catherine O'Hara. Chase [Sui Wonders] is so funny. Bryan Cranston..."
As the list goes on, Rogen playfully mentions being stressed out:
"I'm stressed out just thinking about it [Laughs]"
While Rogen might have found it a bit stressful, fans would love to see some of their favorite stars in one show. From The Batman star Zoë Kravitz to Marvel's Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn, The Studio has an impressive list of guest stars.

The reason why Seth Rogen created The Studio
Like most of the creators, Seth Rogen wished to make a show that mirrors the reality of show business. While fans love to watch hit TV series and films, they aren't completely aware of what's going on behind the scenes.
This is what Rogen will highlight in his comedy series. He said:
"I thought that maybe we could make something that was very personal based on our experiences that was like the real, hopefully definitive, show business satire for this current era."
Before The Studio's official debut on Apple TV+, it had an early screening at SXSW on March 7, 2025, and received high praise. The series has a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with many impressed by its sharp humor and realistic industry insights.
