What happened in The Rookie Season 7 Episode 13?
The Rookie Season 7 Episode 13 saw Nolan and Bailey talking to a social worker about their adoption plans, as they are ready to become parents. But their parenting plans get thwarted because billboards bashing Nolan surface all throughout L.A., questioning if he is a good cop.
Nolan is upset that the billboards only try to defame him, and his friends pin it against the police work he has done over the years. But as the social worker tells them, it does ruin their efforts to become parents.
Elsewhere, while Nolan and Lucy catch a speeding car, a motorcyclist throws a grenade and kills the driver. However, Nolan helps the authorities make a sketch, and the man killed in the car was Viggo Nas, a criminal from Las Vegas.
While on a solo patrol, Celina spotted the motorcycle registered under Mack Wheeler, Viggo's accomplice in Vegas. She finds his wife Sadie unconscious and tortured in the house, who later tells them that her husband is about to pull off a heist in a famous footballer's house.
As it turns out, the footballer was none other than Miles' friend AJ Knox, who later invited him to a party. Miles suspected that AJ's best friend Sean was also in on the heist, and was able to arrest Mack and Sean with Lucy and Celina’s help.
Wes finally finds that it was Liam Glasser who had put up the billboards, and they get taken down in the end.
