The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 is rapidly moving on towards its finale.

The latest episode of The Righteous Gemstones season four was titled For Jealousy Is The Rage of Man and recently aired on HBO. The episode featured several interesting twists, including the ongoing turf war between Vance Simkins and Kevin Gemstone in their quest to dominate Top Christ Following Man. On the other hand, Walton Goggins' Baby Billy Freeman continued his efforts to set the ball rolling for this show, "Teenjus".

Here's everything that we know about the recent episode.

What happened on The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 episode 7?

The latest episode of The Righteous Gemstones opened with Lori facing off against Cobb. The charge? Lori believes that Cobb has been tormenting each individual who happens to date her and accuses Cobb of meddling in her personal life. Eli then happened to call on Cobb unannounced at his gator park, and Cobb spilled the details about Lori's escort service based in Pigeon Forge, Texas. Eli then proceeded to confront Lori with this news, which was promptly shut down by Lori as another one of Cobb's schemes to discredit her. The matter remained unresolved between Eli and Lori.

In other news, when Judy and Jesse went over to Kelvin's house to provide him with moral support, they were told by Kelvin's brother Keefe that the former has been hiding out in his tree house. After they somehow convince Kelvin to show up at the last round of Top Christ Following Man, he talks about his own truth while Vance talks about the tragedy of losing his parents in a plane crash.

Kelvin ultimately came out as gay and made a remarkable speech, which went as follows:

"God sees the real me. In fact, he made the real me. And if the real me is good enough for God then it's good enough for everyone, my name is Kelvin Gemstone and I'm a different kind of man. A beautiful man. A gay Top Christ Following Man. And if that's not good enough for this award, then I don't need it."

It is revealed subsequently that Kelvin actually won.

Adam Devine opens up about The Righteous Gemstones

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Variety Magazine, Adam Devine shared his insights about his character's coming out on the latest episode of The Righteous Gemstones. When asked about the reception to his coming out on the show, Devine explained:

"That’s what I thought was so smart about it, because it could have gone the other way. And I think a lot of people would expect it to go the other way. He’s in such a staunch Christian family that they wouldn’t accept him, and that would be his storyline this season."
"Danny likes to keep things very hush-hush until he gives you the scripts. He might whisper some things in your ear, but I didn’t really know which direction he was going. And then I got the scripts, and I was so happy that (Kelvin) was just accepted."

The Righteous Gemstones is exclusively available on Max.
