The Righteous Gemstones is an HBO series created by Danny McBride. It follows the Gemstone family, a wealthy but dysfunctional clan that runs the megachurch. The family claims to be servants of God but engages in corruption, powerplay, and other scandals.
Dr. Eli Gemstone is the patriarch of the family and a father of three children—Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin. They live a lavish lifestyle funded by the empire while trying to maintain the church's influence. In season 4, they attain control over their mega-church. Season 4 Episode 4 of The Righteous Gemstones will be dropping on your screens on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The season consisting of nine episodes debuted on March 9, 2025, and will continue till May 4, 2025.

The Righteous Gemstone's progression till now and what happened in the recent episode
The official synopsis of Season 4 Episode 4 says:
"At the Gemstone family lake house, Baby Billy and the siblings scheme to exploit Aimee-Leigh's memory in an effort to sabotage Eli's new relationship by any means necessary."
The first season premiered in 2019 and introduces the gemstone family along with the scandal that is about to hamper their reputation. Season 2 was about Eli's emerging past rival while Season 3 showcases Gemstone children taking up leadership roles creating further chaos.
Season 4 will explore them gaining full control over the megachurch, starting with the children learning to function with the responsibility that comes along with leadership. They face challenges from their rivals and Jesse prepares for retaliation in Season 4 Episode 3. Kelvin received an honor as one of the Top Christ Following Man Of The Year nominations, while Jesse and Judy wanted to prove themselves as good leaders but fell short.
Jesse Gemstone is at his lowest point in episode 3, both personally and professionally. His latest business venture, Prayer Pods, which were meant to offer private prayer spaces, has backfired hilariously turning the pods into masturbation hotspots stocked with lotions.
