What will happen in The Recruit Season 2?
The second season will pick up right after the cliffhanger ending of the first season and will reveal if the asset, Max, survived the attack on her by her daughter. Meanwhile, Owen will not have any breather and will directly be thrown into another high-stakes mission.
The lawyer will be assigned an espionage task in South Korea, where he will have to team up with international intelligence agents. Meanwhile, he will face a threat from within the CIA. Talking about how the new season will begin on a high note, series creator Alexi Hawley said in his official statement to Tudum:
“This show lives in propulsion. So we immediately throw Owen in the deep end, which is where he’s the most fun. It seemed like a great way to start Season 2 — and then we just never let our foot off the gas.”
He further talked about how the challenges are only going to increase for Owen and said:
“Owen knows that if he does not walk away with a win this season, his career is going to be over. He might go to prison. Depending on what people are into, they can show up this season for the big, flashy, splashy action stuff, but they can also be on a journey with this guy who’s just trying to fix something that he broke.”
