The Recruit Season 2 cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the spy TV show

The Recruit Season 2 has premiered on Netflix and is keeping the audience hooked with the story of Owen Hendricks, who has another high-stakes mission to accomplish. The new season sends the CIA lawyer to South Korea, where he has to tackle international espionage.

As Owen is headed away from home, he comes across a fresh set of characters, including some new antagonists who act as an obstacle in his mission. Hence, the series has added a number of new cast members in the sophomore season.

The second season of the spy adventure series stars the following actors:

1) Noah Centineo as Owen Hendricks

Noah Centineo reprises his role as the newly recruited CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks. This time around, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place as he is sent to South Korea to deal with an international espionage task. Meanwhile, Owen learns that his own agency might be posing a threat to him.

Apart from starring in The Recruit, Centineo is also known for his role as Peter Kavinsky in Netflix’s To All the Boys I've Loved Before film franchise and Atom Smasher in Black Adam.

2) Teo Yoo as Jang Kyun

Teo Yoo has joined The Recruit season 2 cast as Jang Kyun, an agent working for the South Korean National Intelligence. Known for his clever and humorous personality, Kyun goes to great lengths for the people he loves.

Teo Yoo is a South Korean-German actor famous for his performance as Hae-sung in the film Past Lives. His other movie credits include New Year Blues, You Call It Passion, and Seoul Searching.

3) Aarti Mann as Violet Ebner

Aarti Mann returns to the show as Violet Ebner, Owen's colleague at the CIA. After despising Owen all through the first season, Violet might cause trouble for the lawyer once again in the second installment. Mann has previously starred in shows like The Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy.

4) Maddie Hasson as Nichka Lashin

Maddie Hasson also reprises her role as Nichka Lashin in The Recruit season 2. Nichka ended the previous season on a shocking note as she shot her mother, Max Meladze.

As a member of the Russian mafia, she continues to be a dangerous individual. Hasson’s other television credits include Impulse, Twisted, and The Finder.

5) Young-Ah Kim as Grace

Young-Ah Kim plays Grace, another new character in the second season. Grace is a single mother and a senior intelligence officer. She is tasked with finding out what the CIA’s mission in South Korea is about. Young-Ah Kim is a South Korean actress who appeared in K-dramas like Maestra: Strings of Truth and Remarriage & Desires.

6) Vondie Curtis-Hall as Walter Nyland

Vondie Curtis-Hall stars as Walter Nyland in The Recruit season 2. As Owen’s senior, Nyland not only sends him on missions but also guides him along the way. Curtis-Hall is a veteran actor who has been seen in shows like Rosewood, Justified: City Primeval, and Criminal Minds.
