Kim Richards, the former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills got into an altercation with her sister Kyle Richards, and got shut off by her family amid her sobriety struggle.
Richards had the Police called on for her dispute with her sister Kyle Richards on Wednesday, September 25, as reported by TMZ. The Los Angeles Police reciprocated concerning an incident that took place in the Encino area, California, revealed by a spokesperson LAPD to People.
The place is owned by Kyle, and Kim was staying there after getting released from the psych ward of a hospital, as reported by TMZ. Kim Richards has experienced problems many a times as a consequence of her substance abuse issue.
Her struggle with sobriety was grist for the gossip mills throughout her journey in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle also exposed her sister in Season 1, 2010, to be a chronic substance abuser.
However, the LAPD, told People Magazine that no crime had taken place and stated:
"Both parties were informed of eviction process and officers kept the peace."
The managers of both celebrities were contacted for any information whatsoever on the incident, but there was no reply.

Kim Richards, an actress and a famous reality TV personality from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was born on September 17, 1964, in Mineola, New York. The actress joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the first season along with her sister Kyle Richards, which aired on October 14, 2010.
However, despite being on the show for five seasons, Kim was not called back for the sixth season. She did appear on the show as a guest cast occasionally.
Kim was lashed out by Kyle during the end of Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where Kyle openly told her to 'get help' and outright called her alcoholic. Soon after this incident, Kim was admitted to a rehab for her treatment. Kim was arrested in 2015 on charges of public intoxication, and trespassing, for which she had to spend a night in jail, and was fined as well.
In 2015, after quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim was released from the Malibu treatment facility for 2 weeks to join her daughter's nuptials and then checked herself back.
In 2016, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about her substance abuse issue. She told People Magazine in an interview that she took her first drink when she was 24, but it turned into an addiction after she separated from his husband, Gregg Davis in 1991.
In another interview with People Magazine in 2020, Kim stated that she felt grateful to have achieved five years of sobriety and had become a much happier person. She said:
"I’m just so grateful to be where I am today, and to be this happy and have life this good and have the relationships that I have … I feel so blessed,” she said. “I feel powerful. I feel so grateful. Honestly. Life is so amazing today. I wake up happy. I go to sleep happy.”
However, the recent incident of Kim and Kyle getting into an altercation on Wednesday tells a different story about Kim's sobriety for now.
As reported by TMZ on September 27, police officials revealed that Kyle did not have Kim in her house and informed them that the family had cut off all contact with her in the hope that this might force her to back on her sobriety journey.
