Considering what Jonathan E. Steinberg said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, fans shouldn't expect the end anytime soon. The producer didn't even know how to end the story, as he hadn't given it a thought. Steinberg stated:
"I have thought about a number of different ways that it could end."
He added:
"I don’t believe in asking a story to try and outlive its shelf life. But I don’t feel that about this show. I feel like it still has a lot of things to say."
Following Steinberg's statement, Jeff Bridges also shed light on his role, saying, "I don’t have to play it. I bring that to the party." The actor also talked about his filming experience and spoke highly about the show's intriguing plot.
