The Night Agent Season 3 might get a release date of early 2026. The Netflix thriller is one of the most watched shows on the streaming service.
Although a specific premiere date for The Night Agent Season 3 has not been announced, it is expected to be released in early 2026.
The second season of the spy thriller was released on January 23, 2025. The series was renewed for a third season in October 2025, way before the second season premiered.

When is The Night Agent Season 3 expected to be released?
The news of the renewal of this global hit show was announced in October 2024 before the second season hit the screens in January 2025. Later, in February, Netflix shared that the series has already begun filming in Istanbul for Season 3.
Like The Night Agent Season 3, the first and second seasons also began production early and finished in June. The difference was in their premiere dates: Season 1 premiered in March 2023, and Season 2 premiered in January 2025.
Based on this information if The Night Agent Season 3 wraps up production in June, it might come to our screens in early 2026.
While talking to The Direct, Amanda Warren who plays the character of Catherine Weaver in season 2 shared that she hopes that season 3 releases same time next year. She said:
"Whenever I, as a TV viewer, see something that I really love, I'm always hoping for [the] same time next year, or at least, you know, a year from when—not all streaming platforms are built the same, but sometimes they come out weekly, and sometimes I'm just like, 'Okay, from the end episode, same time next year?'"
"So, I always hope for the same time next year. I can tell you that 'Night Agent' shot at the same time last year, so we are on schedule. I mean, as a production now, they're really on schedule."

An official synopsis or logline has not been shared yet. However, the new season might take off from where it was left in season 2 where Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland might work as a double agent to expose a greater conspiracy in the government.
In an interview with Deadline, showrunner Shawn Ryan also shared about what Peter’s character might be dealing with in the new season. He said:
"What I will say is that Peter, because he is a good, decent person at the end of Season 2, he realizes that, while he got the desired result of saving Rose, stopping the attack on the UN, that the actions that he took to achieve that had some unintended consequences that could be even bigger, perhaps, than the things he stopped."
He further added:
"That will be a part of Season 3, him trying to emotionally and logistically deal with the unintended consequences of his actions in season 2."
Other than Gabriel Basso, Ward Horton, Albert Jones, Jennifer Morrison, David Lyons, and Stephen Moyer will also be a part of the new season of the high-octane action series.
