However, creator Shawn Ryan did exercise creative liberty to add his touch to the action thriller. It added to the engaging plot of the series, but now many would wonder how Ryan will craft a new story while capturing the true spirit of the novel.

Not only this, but he also attempted to kill Omar Zadar and is behind most of the catastrophic events including the deaths of Rose's uncle and aunt.
He even planted bombs inside the president's helicopter and the Laurel Lodge at Camp David, crossing all his lines which will led to his ultimate downfall. The public must know the traitor, and this can be explored in the new chapter.
4) How did Gordon Wick pay for his crimes?
Peter Sutherland and his allies were able to catch almost every individual behind the conspiracy, except for the puppet master Gordon Wick.
Wick is the most formidable and evil businessman, who didn't even hesitate to threaten Vice President Redfield, with who he carried out the illegal activities.
In the finale of The Night Agent Season 1, when the truth finally comes out, Gordon Wick successfully manages to escape. While everything fell apart, Wick was in control and remained unharmed.
