Since its debut in October 2018, CBS’s The Neighborhood has been delivering constant laughs for six seasons. The show was renewed for season 7 in April 2024 and the new season is all set to premiere on October 21, 2024.
The CBS show centers on Dave Johnson and his family as they shift to a predominantly Black neighborhood in California. Thanks to Calvin, his neighbor, Dave gradually learns to fit in there. Shouldered majorly by the charismatic Cedric the Entertainer, the series uses humor to deal with sensitive racial topics, something not a lot of sitcoms focus on.

The Neighborhood Season 7 release date and time
Season 7 of the CBS show will premiere on October 21, 2024, at 8:00 pm ET/ 5:00 pm PT. For viewers who do not have traditional satellite television, CBS is accessible through platforms like Hulu with Live TV, Fubo, Paramount Plus with Showtime, and YouTube TV.
Alternatively, subscribers can stream new episodes the next day they are aired on Paramount Plus Essential.
Plot of The Neighborhood Season 7
Since The Neighborhood is a sitcom, it is difficult to say anything concrete about its plot. Though the show has previously dealt with ongoing threads through different seasons, it is difficult to say if anything introduced in season 6 will be dealt with in season 7.
However, the shocking pregnancy reveal of Marty and Courtney is likely to change the Butler household dynamic forever and give the viewers a character they can watch grow up, in case the series continues.
The Neighborhood Season 7 cast
The series has not seen any drastic changes in casting for the previous 6 seasons and the same is expected to continue in season 7 as well. However, there is an addition to the cast as Emmy-winner Glynn Turman of The Wire fame will be joining the show.
He will be playing Tina's father, Otis. Glynn Turman will appear in two episodes in season 7.

Is there a trailer for The Neighborhood Season 7?
CBS has not yet released any trailer for season 7. However, with the airing date coming closer, a trailer can be expected anytime soon.
