Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg correctly identified Kramer, while both Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong recognized Arroyo. Strawberry Shortcake advanced to join Buffalo, Goo, and Wasp in next week's quarterfinals. The episode marked the final Group C performances before the competition moves to its next phase.

After removing her mask, Kramer discussed her time on the show. She reflected on her previous performances, including Lady Gaga's "You and I" and Miley Cyrus' "When I Look At You." The One Tree Hill actress and country music singer shared that her children inspired her to join the competition. Sherlock Hound's final performance and battle exit

Sherlock Hound performed "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers for his solo round. His video package mentioned his baseball background and new musical path. The clues referenced his World Series championship with the Boston Red Sox in 2004.

Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong connected the sports hints to Bronson Arroyo. Rita Ora guessed Hozier based on the singing style. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg thought the rock music clues suggested Scott Stapp of Creed.

The Masked Singer Season 12 Episode 9’s Battle Royale round paired Sherlock Hound against Strawberry Shortcake. Both performers sang "Shivers" by Ed Sheeran.

Strawberry Shortcake's version was given a win. After his elimination, Arroyo removed his mask and talked about his baseball background and music. The former pitcher mentioned his past performances of Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Under the Bridge" and Miley Cyrus' "Used to Be Young."

Quarter-finals preview

Buffalo, Goo, Wasp, and Strawberry Shortcake will compete in The Masked Singer Season 12’s Quarterfinals. Strawberry Shortcake moves forward after winning the Battle Royale against Sherlock Hound. The remaining contestants will perform new songs as they aim to advance in the competition.
