The Masked Singer Season 12 premiered on FOX on November 13, 2024. Till now, nine masks have been revealed, and the people behind them have left for their homes.
This is a show where celebrities from different walks of life get on stage to sing their hearts out. The twist is that everyone is hidden behind massive masks and elaborate costumes. So, no one knows the face singing the song up on the stage. The faces are only revealed to the audience once someone is eliminated.
This season has had all sorts of masks and many fans' favorites. Chess piece mask, macron mask, ice king mask, royal knight, strawberry shortcake, and the list goes on.
After the latest episode's elimination, fans have discovered nine known personalities behind the costumes. Let's see how all have had their masks off till now.
Elimination order of The Masked Singer Season 12
The following celebrities have been eliminated this season:
Leaf Sheep - Week 1
The first one to leave the stage of The Masked Singer was 'Leaf Sheep.' As the mask was set off, retired NFL player 'John Elway' was revealed. This was a huge surprise for all the NFL fans. His ambassador was Demarcus Ware from Season 11.
Showbird - Week 2
The second mask that got uncovered was of the 'Showbird.' This mask revealed Emmy-nominated actress, 'Yvette Nicole Brown.' Fans recognized Yvette from Community, (500) Days of Summer, Repo Men, and A Black Lady Sketch Show. Yvette's ambassador was Joel McHale.
Ship & Woodpecker - Week 3
In week 3, Judges guessed the person behind the 'Ship' and 'Woodpecker' mask. the person behind the 'Ship' mask was the Grammy-award-winning singer, 'Paula Cole.' Her ambassador was Jewel.
Under the 'Woodpecker mask' was an actress from Black-ish, 'Marsai Martin. Her ambassador was also her on-screen grandmother, Jenifer Lewis.
Dust Bunny - Week 4
Dust Bunny was revealed in Group B's first round, and it was TV celebrity Andy Ritcher. His clue talked about his journey in the television business and the names of some of his co-stars, including Anne Hathaway, Marlon Brando, etc.
Chess Piece - Week 5
Laverne Cox was revealed on week 5 of The Masked Singer under the 'Chess Piece' mask. Laverne is an actor and an activist, who talked about her difficult childhood and 'Barbie' being her inspiration. Laverne's ambassador on the show was Nikki Glaser.
Bluebell - Week 6
Week 6, also Group B's semi-final, uncovered Natalie Imbruglia behind the 'Bluebell' costume. Natalie is a known singer and actress. In her clue, she talks about how motherhood brought back her inspiration to write after her career went south. Representing Natalie, her ambassador was Kelly Osbourne.
Macaron - Week 7
Week 7 was the last one for Macaron, aka Bethany Hamilton. An award-winning surfer and shark actor survivor, her clues included a shirt with "Unstoppable Blooming All Year Long" written and AnnaSophia Robb's picture. Her ambassador was Willie Robertson.
Ice King - Week 8
Last week, fans bid adieu to the Ice King, and it turned out to be Drake Bell, an award-winning actor and musician. The Masked Singer was like a comeback for Drake as he went MIA after Josh and he parted ways. Representing Drake, his ambassador was Hanson.
