The new season of The Masked Singer is currently running on FOX. Started on Nov 13, the show is almost ready to declare this year's winner. 12 celebrities have been revealed this now, and fans can't wait to find out who will be left masked till the end.
A spin on a usual singing competition, this show welcomes celebrities from the field of sports, entertainment, and more to get on stage and sing without revealing their identities. The only time fans get to know who is behind each costume is when someone is eliminated.
The show ensures its audience is hooked by throwing clues related to each celebrity right before their performance. The guessing game keeps getting more and more interesting as the show progresses.
Elimination order of The Masked Singer Season 12 so far
As of now, 12 masks have been removed on the stage of The Masked Singer:
Week 1 - Leaf Sheep
Leaf Sheep mask was the first to be removed. The intricate costume revealed NFL player John Elway. Everyone, including the judges, was surprised as the mask came off. Demarcus Ware from season 11 was his ambassador.
Week 2 - Showbird
It was none other than The Odd Couple star, Yvette Nicole Brown. Brown is an Emmy-nominated actress who has worked in some of the best sitcoms. Her ambassador on the show was Joel McHale.
Week 3 (1) - Ship
Week 3 of The Masked Singer was a double-elimination week. The first one to go home this week was singer Paula Cole. Cole is a Grammy award winner who has a strong fan base. Her masked ambassador was Grammy-nominated singer Jewel.
Week 3 (2) - Woodpecker
Another mask was revealed in week 3 of The Masked Singer. The woodpecker mask revealed actor and producer Marsai Martin. Martin's ambassador was her former co-star, Jenifer Lewis.
Week 4 - Dust Bunny
It was time to unmask the dust bunny, and as the mask came off, Conan O'Brien's sidekick from The Tonight Show, Andy Richter, was revealed. Andy is an actor and a comedian. His ambassador was Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe award winner Dick Van Dyke.
Week 5 - Chess Piece
The gorgeous chess piece mask had to come off in week 5, and the face behind it was actor and activist, Laverne Cox. Cox is also an LGBT advocate and is one of the stars on Orange is the New Black. Representing Cox was comedian and actress Nikki Glaser.
Week 6 - Bluebell
The face hidden behind the bluebell mask was actor and singer, Natalie Imbruglia. She is known for her work in Neighbours. Her ambassador on The Masked Singer was Kelly Osbourne.
Week 7 - Macaron
It was time for the sweet mask to come off and reveal Bethany Hamilton. She is an American professional surfer who was represented by her ambassador, Willie Robertson, a TV personality.
Week 8 - Ice King
Week 8 was a little extra cold for Ice King. The costume unmasked actor and musician, Drake Bell. An American pop rock band from Oklahoma, Hanson was the ambassador of the Home Improvement star.
Week 9 (1) - Royal Knight
It was Alex Dupre from One Tree Hill actor, Jana Kramer, who was behind the royal knight mask. Representing him on The Masked Singer was reality TV star Savannah Chrisley.
Week 9 (2) - Sherlock Hound
Sherlock Hound's performance on "Ho Hey" couldn't impress the judges and the audience. His mask came off as he got ready to go home and revealed former MLB player Bronson Arroyo. His masked ambassador was Barry Zito.
Week 10 - Goo
Goo was revealed right before the final and revealed Kobie Turner, an NFL player. He went home after his performance in the quarterfinals. His ambassador was Keenan Allen.
