The finale of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 has left the future of Mickey and his law firm on a cliffhanger. We see that Mickey is accused of Sam Scales' murder, which he did not commit.

The sixth book of the series by Michael Connelly called 'The Law of Innocence' will be covering the main plot of the fourth season. Clearly, Mickey has been framed in Sam's murder. It would be interesting to see Haller defend himself for a crime he did not commit.
