Netflix's The Later Daters premiered on November 29, 2024, and released all episodes. The "post-holiday retreat" docuseries features baby boomers going on blind dates as they navigate their dating lives in the modern world.
The second episode of The Later Daters features Pam, Suzanne, Anise, Nate, and his ex-girlfriend Jackie. While Logan visited Pam, she shared tips for her first date with Robert. Suzanne went on her second date with Avery, while Nate and Anise had their first date with each other.

The second episode picked up where the first episode ended, starting with Anise's first date with George. After she returned to their table, George told her that he enjoyed her "walking out" and that she was "kinda like, a little ghetto."
While Anise tried to end their date and thanked George for the flowers, she insisted on staying, as "the night was still young."
"I was over it. I was over it," Anise confessed.
Later, Anise went to see her daughter, Dwayna, and shared the details of her date with George. This included George's comments about blonde wigs and other inappropriate things.
The Later Daters' second episode featured Anise going on her second blind date, this time with Nate, one of the show's cast members.
Suzanne's second blind date: Avery
Suzanne was getting ready with her dress as she showed it to her dogs. Logan Ury, the dating coach, told the cameras about Suzanne's first date with Frank and that it was a "great" first date.
"After the date, Frank followed up with her on Facebook, and they have not been in touch. I think there's a part of her that knows that he was in the right direction, but not her match," shared Logan.
Suzanne's daughter, Allison, shared how she felt the "chemistry" between her mother and Frank when she went to pick her up. Suzanne called him a charming guy with a "great personality."
Suzanne went on her second blind date. It was with Avery, 59, a financial advisor.
"He's very handsome. But where are my damn roses? That's what I want to know," confessed Suzanne.
They talked about travel, exercise, running, and more. While they both enjoyed their dates, they shared more with each other. After some time, Allison came to pick her up. Avery told the cameras that the date went "great" and referred to Suzanne as "multifaceted" and "obviously very smart."
The mother-daughter FaceTimed Logan and shared the details about the date. Logan confessed about how Avery would be a "good fit" for Suzanne while she was,
"I feel like she's dating from an outdated rulebook. She's not allowing herself to be in the driver's seat."
Later, when Suzanne was notified that Avery asked for her number, she agreed, and he was happy about it, dancing joyfully.
The Later Daters Episode 2: Nate meets his girlfriend
Nate, who went to see his ex-girlfriend Jackie. She was excited to know all about his first blind date, which was with Latreecia. While sharing his "story," Nate said he couldn't remember where they went and what Latreecia does for a living.
"You know, next time I'll take a notepad, okay?" shared Nate.
Later in the second episode, he went on his second blind date, this time with Anise, one of the participants of The Later Daters.
Anise and Nate's blind date: The Later Daters Episode 2
Nate brought yellow roses for Anise. Their first conversation was about their ages: hers was 62, and he was 56. They talked about her interests, which included outdoor activities and traveling, and his military service, from which he was forced to retire because of his disability.
"Nate is a really great guy. He's tall A+. He's bald-headed and dressed well. Double stars. And he has not called me "ghetto."
After their date, Nate FaceTimed Logan and shared that their date was "very inquisitive." After that, Logan FaceTimed Anise to ask about the date. Anise said their conversation was "easy and constant," and they laughed.
Pam meets Logan: Her first blind date - Robert
The Later Daters Episode 2 introduced a cast member, Pam, 70, who had been married twice and single for 15 years. As she shared, she was living with her granddaughter, Zoe.
"I had just turned 22, and Steve was playing at the Municipal Auditorium.....He said, "Come to England with me." I quit my job. My family disowned me. And I left.....That was quite a scandal!" shared Pam.
Logan came to see Pam, who shared about being a flight attendant, her late husbands, and more. Pam opened up and revealed the reason. She wanted Zoe to have a social life so she wouldn't worry about her grandmother.
"Pam is this flower that needs to be in the sun, needs to be around other people, and her life right now, just isn't set up for that," shared Pam
Logan told Pam not to share ghost stories on her dates and to keep an open mind. While getting ready for her first blind date since "twenty-oh-eight," Pam shared that when she had her last date, there were no "computers."
Her first blind date was with Robert, 65, a sound mixer. While they discussed various subjects, Robert told her she hardly asked him any questions.
