What happened in The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 6?

The Hunting Party Episode 6 saw the case of Arlo Brandt, who was given Material Detachment Therapy in The Pit. Arlo was a compulsive hoarder of materialistic things, which eventually turned to humans and he became a serial killer.

So, he was enrolled in therapy, where he was asked to give up his prized possession in return for food. He seems to be doing fine and getting a grip on this disorder until the explosion.

Soon, Bex and her team realize that Arlo is simply not killing his victims this time. He targeted a real estate agent and is now going after his clients and recreating his experiences with the therapy in The Pit on them.

Arlo saw these people's need to buy property as his compulsion to own things and wanted them to free them of it like he was freed in The Pit. He was also forced to give up his clothes and hair inside the therapy, and he re-created this with all his victims.

Eventually, Bex and her team find him before he can kill, and he is taken back to The Pit.

In addition, Bex also confronts Oliver about the truth of The Pit, saying that she knows about Silo 12. Oliver also does not seem to have much information, except that the inmates were subjected to experiments inside The Pit, and the few chosen ones were shifted to a different location.

He also tells her that Silo 12 was well-connected with The Pit through tunnels and he suspects that a breach in Silo 12 initiated the explosion in The Pit.
