The second episode of Celebrity Bear Hunt Season 1 premiered on February 5, 2025 on Netflix. The episode, Let Down by My Bladder, featured the remaining celebrity participants, including Zuu, Lottie, Danny, Shirley, Joe, and Una.

For the Bridge the Gap challenge, participants were divided into two teams. Shirley was in Team Green, along with Danny and Una. Shirley got emotional after completing the task, which was quite difficult for her because it involved great height, balance, and time pressure.

Celebrity Bear Hunt's Shirley confessed to the cameras:

"Walking that bridge was the hardest thing I've ever done, but, you know, you're never too old to try something, give it a go, conquer your fears, and that's exactly what I did today."

Celebrity Bear Hunt Episode 2: Team Blue wins the Bridge the Gap challenge

The Celebrity Bear Hunt's second episode featured another task to help celebrity participants conquer their fear of heights under pressure. The task, titled Bridge the Gap, featured participants divided into two teams. Una, Shirley, and Danny were on Team Green, while Joe, Lottie, and Zuu were on Team Blue.

The challenge was to be performed at Razon Ravine. Bear Grylls and the show host, Holly, were also present with the participants. He explained the task:

"This is the "Gap." It's about 200 feet straight down from here...and probably about 200 feet across. Trust nothing. Assume nothing. Like so much in the wild, things are unpredictable. They are unstable. Get used to it."

While Joe, a Celebrity Bear Hunt participant, mentioned it was "traumatizing," Shirley confessed it would be a "terrifying experience."

While working with their teammates, both teams had to go across the bridge and get ten supply bags from the crate. They had to use the winch and transport those supply bags across the ravine.

After that, they also had to cross a bridge missing with a few slats, so they had to be more careful. Teams were also provided with loose slats, which they could use to fill in those gaps. Additionally, only two teammates could stay on the bridge at a time.

Team Green was the first to perform the challenge. Shirley and Joe went onto the bridge while Una got the supply bags ready to be sent.

"I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I would be walking across a bridge that was 200 feet above ground. I was not this nervous when I went to win my world championships," confessed Shirley.

Fans might know that Shirley is a ballroom champion. The Green team completed the task successfully at 18:56, but the Blue Team did it at 14:47, making the latter the winning team.

Since the Green team lost the task, they were supposed to go to the Bear Pit. However, Bear Grylls mentioned that Shirley wouldn't attend the Bear Pit. He also mentioned the reason behind his decision.

"And the reason for that, you faced some real fears up there, and I see you a little bit like a multimillion-dollar racehorse. I think you could go far, and I want you to pace yourself."

Later in the episode, Shirley recalled what Bear had mentioned and imitated being a horse. She stated that Bear Grylls had called her a multi-million-dollar horse.
