For one last time this season, The Great British Bake Off judges and the contestants stepped into the tent in the finale of the show aired on November 26, 2024, and the results are out. Between Christiaan, Georgie, and Dylan, it was Georgie who took home the win.
This is a baking competition where 12 contestants from all across the UK entered the show to compete and win the trophy of The Great British Bake Off. For the last 10 weeks, the contenders baked cakes, pies, cookies, pastries, etc. based on different themes and genres.
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith judged each dessert that was presented before them to find the one who rules them all. Yesterday, in a nail-biting episode of the show, the final three contestants gave it their all.

The Great British Bake Off - Finale Episode
On the November 26th episode of The Great British Bake Off, finalists Dylan Bachelet, Christiaan de Vries, and Georgie Grasso bake scones, a quintessential afternoon tea, and celebratory hanging cakes for a summer garden party as their final sweet treat for the judges.
Christiaan baked a 'Sculpted Summer', Georgie baked a 'Summer Garden Celebration', and Dylan baked a 'Colors of Murano.'
Who won The Great British Bake Off 2024
Out of all the beautiful cakes, it was only the 'Summer Garden Celebration' that satisfied the judges' palette.
Georgie Grasso, a 34-year-old Pediatric nurse from Carmarthenshire got herself crowned as the champion of The Great British Bake Off.
"Georgie did what she does best - classic British baking beautifully done, and won it and quite right too."
Complimented Prue. To this, Paul added,
"The Welsh wonder, Georgie, smashed it out of the park."
On hearing her name as the winner of the show, Georgie couldn't believe the results.
"This is mad. I have won it, I can’t believe it. This is just incredible."
She further talked about how she has also doubted herself,
"I have got this and that wrong with me and think I can’t do it, and you make excuses. For once I thought I am just going to go for it and put my everything into it. Working all hours and I sacrificed time with the kids and the family."
In her final speech, she also got emotional as the show came to an end,
"My heart is racing... and I am already feeling sad that I am not coming back here [to the show] and not seeing everyone. The people I have met are going to be best friends for life. This is the best thing I have ever done."
Although many fans could not be happier with the result, there were some who expected the results to be different. Many of the fans expressed how they expected Dylan to take home the win.
