The Glass Dome trailer details explored

The new trailer builds up the anticipation for the show's release marvellously while simultaneously dropping revealing details about the show's plot and storyline. Léonie Vincent stars as the protagonist Lejla, who is a criminologist and has experience in the behavioral sciences. The beginning of the trailer finds her in her professional habitat and also quickly establishes the backstory that as a child she was abducted and held captive by an unknown perpetrator in a glass dome.

This unfortunate incident left permanent scars on Lejla's psyche, and therefore the past often comes up in haunting flashbacks to torment her. Following the death of a relative, she returns back to her hometown, which was the scene of her past trauma. She puts up with Johan Hedenberg's Valter, who is a retired police officer and coincidentally also the one who was the investigating officer of her own case.

The trailer further reveals that upon returning to her hometown, Lejla goes on to reconnect with one of her childhood friends who invites her home for coffee. However, this idyllic life of peace is soon disturbed with the disappearance of Lejla's friend's daughter. History seems to be repeating itself, opening the doors of Lejla's past trauma. She is now faced with the unenviable position of investigating a missing person's case, which is eerily similar to her own.

Several questions are hinted at by the trailer, including the possibility of the same perpetrator repeating his crime. Meanwhile, Lejla must reconcile with her past way sooner than she had expected.
