The Equalizer Season 5 is finally returning to the television screens after a two-month-long mid-season break. The show will air its next episode on CBS on February 16, 2025.
The crime drama is a reimagining of the 1980s series of the same name, and stars Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, a former CIA agent who starts working as a vigilante in the streets of New York City to help people in need.

What happened in The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 7?
In the previous episode, Slay Ride, Dante stepped in to stop an assassination attempt. However, the shooter, La Maldad, was a cartel leader’s daughter who had made a deal with the FBI and vowed revenge against him.
Meanwhile, Robyn prepared a Christmas Eve dinner, but her plans were interrupted when she discovered a cartel threat at the hospital where Miles worked. As the situation escalated, Robyn, Dante, and their team had to deal with a dangerous standoff involving cartel operatives who had taken over the hospital.
The episode explored the complicated relationships between Robyn, Miles, and Dante as they worked together to protect La Maldad and stop the cartel. Miles was eventually taken hostage and Robyn and Dante had to come up with a risky plan to save him.
Amid the chaos, Delilah struggled with her own worries about meeting Cam’s family. However, Cam chose to stay with her. At the same time, Robyn reflected on her past with Miles and her changing relationship with Dante.
In the action-packed climax, Robyn and her team managed to stop the cartel’s plans. Robyn and Miles then had an honest conversation about their future. The group later came together to celebrate Christmas, giving a happy ending to the mid-season finale.
