What happened in The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 10?

Season 5 Episode 10 saw Robyn and Dante investigate a family case who owned a restaurant. Fearing business robberies, the couple had put their entire life savings with a cash management company called Guardian Warehouse.

The company claimed that they have insurance and that if anything were to happen to their cash, they would be reimbursed by them. And the worst happened: their entire savings were destroyed in a fire at the company's warehouse, and now they were backing away from their promise and dodging the couple's calls.

Robyn and Dante found out that the money that went up in smoke was actually fake, and the robbers exchanged the real money before setting fire to the place. They meet with the owner, Luke Wentworth, who revealed that the Russian mob was also one of his clients.

After further investigation, the duo found out the actual robbers, who were none other than the couple's son Niko and his friend. Thinking that their parent's money would be covered by insurance, he made this plan without knowing that he was actually stealing from the mob. He and his friend were sent to jail, and the couple got their savings back.

Elsewhere, motivated by her mother and Harry, Mel finally opened up about her PTSD in front of her father, who was also struggling with his time in the Philippine military. The father-daughter duo finally talked it out and reconnected.
