Million Dollar Secret Episode 5 premiered on Netflix on April 2, 2025. The latest episode featured a new millionaire in the making. It was Sam, but only the show host, Peter, knew about her true identity.
Further in the episode, viewers witnessed another elimination, which sent Lydia home. While she was suspicious of Sydnee and unaware that Sam was the new millionaire, Lydia was voted out by Sam, with her new power.
As Lydia left The Stag, her parting words were:
"This is the biggest adventure I've ever been on, and the craziest thing I've ever done. I think I played the game pretty well. I played with the cards that were dealt me. As the grandma in the house, I did pretty well. I think I'd still be in there competing had that millionaire not thought me to be a threat. But I've got to say, I'm better at poker than I am at this game."
Million Dollar Secret Episode 5: Lydia was sent home after the new millionaire (Sam) chose Lydia for the elimination
During the Million Dollar Secret Episode 5, Chris and Lydia discussed who, according to them, might be the millionaire. Chris thought Sam was the new millionaire, while Lydia had her suspicions about Jaimi.
"I wish I could say I trust Chris 100%, but I don't. But he's a really good player. He's a very logical player. And it makes me wonder if Sam is lying," confessed Lydia.
Later, Cara, Sam, Lydia, and Kyle discussed Sydnee, who opened up about her second profession earlier. While discussing who could be the new millionaire, Lydia asked Sam if she was the new millionaire. Sam refused.
"I'm sorry. I hope Chris looks this back and sees how whipped he is by her (Sydnee)," said Cara.
The next elimination on Million Dollar Secret took place the next morning. Being the new millionaire, Sam wanted to vote out Chris because he was "onto her." However, she couldn't. If she did, it would point at her.
Lydia and Sam planned to vote out Sydnee, so Sam also thought of targeting Sydnee so that she wouldn't come out as the new millionaire.
"But this game is all about strategy, and I have to be playing the long game. So I want to see who Sydnee throws out during this elimination meal because if I can use that name and throw them out, then all eyes will be on Sydnee," confessed Sam.
Soon, everyone arrived at the table, including the host. When he asked the guests about their suspicions about who the new millionaire could be, Chris said it was the "hardest one" yet.
"I want to tell you the millionaire completed their secret agenda. And their reward was a kill shot. Only their vote counts tonight. Your votes are null and void. They have chosen who goes home this week," revealed the host.
Million Dollar Secret host revealed that Lydia was voted out by the new millionaire (Sam.) Before leaving the Stag, Lydia shared that she wanted Corey to advance in the game. She called Sydnee the "most dangerous player" in the game. She said to Chris that he was "very strategic" and wanted Cara to win.
"Sam, I've really enjoyed playing with this game. I hope you also go to the end," said Lydia.
Before leaving, Lydia revealed that she was a poker player, which shocked everyone. As she unlocked her box, which had no money, the host told Lydia that she had to go home.
"Thank you. I've enjoyed my stay," Lydia said.
As she left The Stag, Lydia reflected on her journey so far. She told the cameras that being on Million Dollar Secret was the "biggest adventure" she had ever been on.
