ABC's hit sitcom Roseanne's spin-off The Conners finally concluded with an emotional finale. While their family matriarch, Roseanne, was emotionally present throughout the finale, actress Roseanne Barr did not made an appearance herself.

However, the finale was still all about honoring her as Dan's efforts to confront the pharmaceutical company responsible for her death had a bittersweet resolution. The family gathered around her grave and remembered her fondly.

The Conners Season 7 finale ended with members of the family bidding each other goodbyes and goodnight, a cheeky way to bid farewell to the audience. Dan broke the fourth wall and directly bid goodbye to the audience, after having a $700 pizza party with his family.

Read on to know what happened to each member of the family in The Conners Season 7 finale.

The Conners Season 7 ending explained: Where did each member of the family end up?

The Conners Season 7 finale showed Dan working hard towards his confrontation against the pharmaceutical company that caused Roseanne's death. While Dan was married to Louise in the spin-off series, his efforts to get justice for his late wife prove just how much respect and love he still has for her.

While The Conners were hopeful that they would receive a hefty compensation for their matriarch's death, they did not strike the lottery in the finale. Instead, the company issued a check for $700, which they marked as “transportation and miscellaneous.”

After this bittersweet justice, the family headed to Roseanne's grave in The Conners Season 7 finale, where they all honoured and remembered her.

After returning home, Louise was still concerned after seeing Dan's love for Roseanne, to which he reassured her that their marriage is also just as important to him.

Jackie's hard work finally paid off and she finished the series while being a police officer, and as she told Roseanne on her grave, she was also happy in her marriage.

Becky landed a successful job, which might even enable her to afford a new truck. While such a significant investment came with a substantial commitment, she and Tyler had discussed their finances thoroughly and were prepared for it.

Darlene's marriage was going downhill in The Conners Season 7. While her husband, Ben, was too busy in the office, she was attracted to a new man named Chad. The couple finally resolved all of their conflicts in the finale and decided to give their marriage another shot.

Darlene's children also set out on a path of their own. While Harris stayed with her diner and boyfriend, her brother Mark departed for the cybersecurity training program in New York.

The Conners Season 7 honored their matriarch

While everyone was expecting Roseanne Barr to guest-star in The Conners series finale, the actress did not appear. But the family and the makers of the show honored her contribution to the sitcom and thanked her for the legacy she left.

Talking to Deadline, executive producer Bruce Helford talked about Roseanne and her legacy:

''There were mentions [about Roseanne's tribute in the finale] all along. We never shied away from that. The family loved their matriarch. For the finale, we felt it was right to honor the character and honor Roseanne herself, who birthed the show. It was important to make that part of the end.''

The final shot of the show, featuring the family's iconic couch, was a perfect way to end the series.
