HBO's The White Lotus Season 3 finally concluded with an explosive finale, leading to many deaths, including one of the most beloved characters of this season.

However, (surprisingly) all of the Ratliff family made it out alive, but not before their patriarch, Timothy Ratliff, tried to serve them poisonous piña coladas to celebrate their last day (pun intended).

He decided to grind the seeds of a poisonous fruit with coconut milk and other ingredients to make a poisonous concoction, which he intended to serve his whole family, except Lochlan. Since he earlier said that he would survive being poor, he got a free pass to live.

But just as he served the drink and all four of them drank a big gulp, he had a change of heart, threw the glasses away and had the most hilarious explanation for his behavior:

''The coconut milk is off''

His family could also not help but be surprised at his statement, which is now taking over the Internet. Timothy's scene has gone viral on the internet, and people are laughing at his casualness, as he didn't just try to poison his whole family.

Let's see some fan reactions to this scene from The White Lotus Season 3 finale.

Fan reactions on "The coconut milk is off" scene in The White Lotus Season 3

In The White Lotus Season 3 finale, Timothy Ratliff finally acts on what he has been envisioning through many episodes. He decided to poison his whole family, save Lochlan.

But just as his family was gulping the pina colada, or as a Reddit user called it 'Piña killada', he had a change of heart. Throwing Saxon's glass on the ground, she delivers the statement nonchalantly, taking the Internet by storm, and the Reddit users are having a day with that scene.

While the scene was hilarious in itself, user, u/longwhitejeans, points out how normally he 'canceled' the whole thing and called it a night:

''The way he just tossed the glasses, left the blender and wanted to go to bed! Suicide murder pact cancelled. Off to bed now.''

Another Reddit user, Itzhak Pearl Jam, posted this review Victoria would have of the resort, which is hilarious:

''Good hotel. Minus one star for spoiled coconut milk.''

Another user, u/Randimous, liked Timothy's statement so much that they would like to make a secret code word for abandoning plans, just like how the Ratliff patriarch canceled suicide for his family:

''If I yell “THE COCONUT MILK IS AWF” know that I’m abandoning the plan you didn’t know I had enacted.''

An X user, @blackpetuunia, commented on the absurdity of the scene and how Timothy handled the situation so carelessly:

''LMFAO this part had me dying Hes so f*cking goofy 😭 like make up ur mind!!''

Lochlan drinking the ''off coconut milk'' in The White Lotus Season 3 was equally hilarious to fans

While Timothy casually throwing away the glass was definitely meme-worthy, him not rinsing the blender with the poison was stupid. Lochlan deciding to make his protein shake in the poisonous and used blender was unhygienic and The White Lotus fans cannot help but call out his unhygienic behavior.

Reddit user, u/whenforeverisnt, thinks if Lochlan is using an overnight's dirty blender to make his shake in the morning, he deserved what he got (which is true, tho):

''And then Lochlan decided to drink spoiled coconut milk that had been sitting overnight... I'm sorry, he deserved it.''

While Timothy's decision to not include Lochlan in his suicide mission makes sense, killing his own family in front of him was also hilarious and absurd. That kind of trauma, at such a young age, would totally ruin a person, which Timothy did not take into account.

The whole sequence with the Ratliff family in The White Lotus Season 3 finale just adds to how weird the family was and more profoundly complements White's satire on the rich.
