Fox's crime drama The Cleaning Lady is currently on its fourth installment. This Elodie Yung-starrer show, created by Miranda Kwoke, premiered in 2022. It follows the tumultuous life of Thony De La Rosa, a former surgeon turned illegal immigrant who worked as a cleaning lady for a cartel. Due to an incident, she got plunged into the crime world, where she used her medical knowledge to clear out crime scenes.

Season 3 ended on a hopeful note for Thony with Ramona's arrest, teasing a life away from the drug cartel. Her dreams were shattered in the premiere episode of The Cleaning Lady Season 4 when Agent Russo was murdered, thus pushing her back to the dual life- in a drug cartel and as a surgeon in the hospital. The situation got complicated further when ADA Joel suspected Thony of murdering a cartel associate. To avoid arrest, Thony and Jorge decided to fake their marriage.

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 5: A quick refresher

In this episode titled Wrecking Ball, Ramona's prison life takes a dangerous turn when masked guards assaults her, demanding $25 million to keep her identity secret. Meanwhile, Thony moves to Jorge's mansion with her son Luca to solidify their fake marriage. Luca even though he connects with Jorge's daughter, struggles to adjust in the mansion. At Jorge's Desert Colosseum event, the couple spins a convincing spins love story for ADA Joel Herman.

On the other hand, Thony is pulled away to save Feng's poisoned partner, Jialong. Thony faces pressure as Feng does not agree to pay the money until and unless she treats Jialong.

Jorge's cartel tensions escalate as El Don pressures him over the delayed mining deal. Thony diagnoses Jialong with tattoo poisoning, while Jorge storms to the hospital with his team, teasing a heated stand off. Ramona realising the warden blackmailed her strikes a deal with Hunter Heller- her mysterious ally- to secure her release. Now free but monitored Ramona arrives at Jorge's, making Thony quite uncomfortable.

Elsewhere Fiona and JD grows closer, moving in together after sharing a kiss. As alliances shift and danger loom, Thony and Jorge's fragile facade faces threats, especially with Ramona's return.

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 6 titled Money, Power & Respect will pick up the events right after the previous episode. With Ramona's release from prison, Thony and Jorge's fake marriage will face even more difficulties. The synopsis, as per Rotten Tomatoes, reads,

" With Ramona's increasing presence, the Sin Cara family faces off for dominance; when Luca's honesty threatens the family secrets, Thony must make a tough decision, Ramona makes a call that leaves the fate of Sin Cara uncertain"

As per the synopsis, Thony's son Luca might spill the secret of the fake settlement between Jeorge and Thony. On the other Ramona might take some shocking decisions that might affect Sin Cara.
