Fox's crime drama The Cleaning Lady is back with a fresh season. Developed by Miranda Kwok, the series is based on a hit Argentinian series, La chica queue limpia. It first debuted on Fox on January 3, 2022, and after three successful seasons, The Cleaning Lady was renewed for a fourth season in May 2024. The upcoming season will finally see the protagonist, Thony De LaRosa (Elodie Young), take control of her life and take steady steps to revive her career as a medical professional.

The main plotline of the series is based on Thony De La Rosa, a doctor-turned-illegal immigrant who initially worked as a cleaner for a cartel to provide for her son Luca (suffering from a medical disorder). After witnessing a crime, she is forced into the crime world, where she applies her medical knowledge to tidy crime scenes. Thus, Thony leads a double life, one as a caring mother to her son Luca and another as a corrupted medical professional clearing crime scenes.
The main cast of The Cleaning Lady Season 4 includes Martha Milia as Fiona De La Rosa, Elodie Yung as Thony De La Rosa, Sean Lew as Chris, Faith Bryant as Jazz, Kate Del Castillo as Ramona, Sebastien, and Valentino LaSalle as Luca and Santiago Cabrera as Jorge.
As per Deadline, new cast members are slated to join the series Daniel Bonjour and Alain Uy. Bonjour is cast to play Dr. Dupont, an attending physician in a poor neighborhood in Las Vegas, while Uy plays the role of Feng, an actor-turned-crime lord. Patricia De Leon, Lea Salonga, and Robert Cicchini will have recurring guest roles.
However, due to the unfortunate death of Adan Canto, his character Arman Morales was written out by the writers instead of casting a new face. Moreover, Eva de Dominici, who played Nadia, his wife, was also killed in the previous season. Apart from that, Liza Weil and Brandon Jay McLaren also will not be a part of this season.

When Nadia finally managed to escape, she was shot down by Ramona, who emerged from the helicopter.
Later, Ramona was arrested by the FBI for the money laundering charity event. With Ramona's decreasing influence, Jorge advised Thony that she could leave the cartel and lead a normal life. However, Thony's happiness was short-lived as she received a burner phone with a message from Derek, Ramona's ally and cartel boss, who offered Thony a new role.
