The Chosen Season 5 Episodes 6, 7 & 8: Release date news, time, streaming details and more

Amazon Prime Video's Christian historical series The Chosen Season 5 will conclude with Part 3 on June 29. The series has followed a unique release pattern for the latest season, simultaneously releasing three episodes weekly.

The concluding episodes, ie, Episodes 6, 7 & 8, will be released on June 29, 2025, concluding Season 5.

The official synopsis for Season 5 reads as follows:

''The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival. Their power threatened, the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last.”

After The Chosen Season 5 Part 2 featured snippets of Jesus Christ's Last Supper, the concluding arc will see the final moments of His life, before He is arrested and handed over to the Romans for crucifixion.

The Chosen Season 5 Episodes 6, 7 & 8: Release and streaming details

The Chosen Season 5 will drop its final set of episodes (Episodes 6, 7, and 8) on Prime Video on June 29, 2025, at 3:00 am ET. The final arc will feature one of the most important and defining moments in the scriptures and the Holy Gospel, Jesus Christ's crucifixion.

Episode 6 is titled "Reunions," and Episodes 7 & 8 are titled "The Upper Room Part I and Part II," which will conclude The Chosen Season 5.

The episodes will be exclusively available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, and you will need an active subscription to watch the upcoming episodes. Prime Video Membership costs $14.99 per month and $139 per year.

You can also subscribe to a standalone service, which costs $7.49 per month/$69 per year. Amazon Prime Video also offers a 30-day free trial period.

While Season 5's concluding episodes will be available on July 29 for the US audience, International audiences will have to wait for an additional month. For regions including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, the UK, and Latin America, Episodes 6, 7, and 8 will be available on July 27, 2025.

What can you expect from The Chosen Episodes 6, 7 & 8?

The Chosen Season 5 Part 2 (Episodes 3,4, and 5) featured one of the most important sequences in the Holy Gospel, Jesus Christ's Last Supper with His disciples, which will bring Him even further to his inevitable crucifixion.

While the tragic event is one of the defining moments in The Chosen Season 5, the weight of this tragedy was felt even strongly in Part 2, which featured snippets of Jesus Christ's last supper with his disciples and the beginning of the Sanhedrin and the High Priest's plot to have Him arrested.

The final arc will deliver another important event from the Holy Gospel, the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus Christ was betrayed and eventually arrested.

As the moments build to Christ's crucifixion, the show also highlights His role as a father figure to his disciples, which was clearly evident in Part 2.

The previous episodes featured Jesus Christ's unique and personal connection to each of his disciples, who got their shining moments during the Last Supper. Their intimate moments with their God somehow made the finale episodes even more anticipatory, as they will feature His final prayer at the Gethsemane and the last private moment with the Father.
