The Challenge All Stars: Rivals Season 5: Who was eliminated in the premiere episode?

The Challenge All Stars: Rivals did not leave fans waiting long to witness TJ Lavine throwing challengers in the competition pit. After the legendary 40th season of The Challenger, the fans got to witness another season of All Stars but with a twist. As the name suggests the fifth season will have the stars from the previous seasons, but guess what? This time they will be paired with their "Rivals"

The show premiered on January 29, with 26 challengers who will be paired to vie for the whooping prize money of $300,000. However, this season the contestants will not just have to work hard to grab their spot in the show but will also have to maintain a cordial bond with their enemies to navigate far in the game.

The contestants joining the season include some famous rivals like Nany González & Turbo, Adam Larson & Steve Meinke, Beth Stolarczyk & Jonna Mannion, Katie Cooley & Veronica Portillo, and many more who would have to sort out the bad blood between them to reach the finale.

The Challenge All Stars: Rivals lets the contestants take a sigh of relief in the elimination arena

The premiere episode of The Challenge All Stars: Rivals gave the contestants an easy starting week to settle down, get accustomed to their rivals who are also their partners now, and get "Down and Dirty" in the Daily Challenge. As the format goes, the challengers were put into an exhaustive Daily Challenge but awarded a sigh of relief by not sending anyone into the elimination arena for this week.

However, it does not mean that the danger is not lurking in the heads of these challenges. The Daily Challenge which required the challengers to dabble into various steps of struggling challenge to emerge on the top, also highlighted who performed poorly on the premiere episode, indicating if they do not up their game, they might be the ones to see no more challenge in the show next week.

For the Daily Challenge, The Challenge All Stars: Rivals host, TJ Lavine kept it classic by pairing the enemies for the season and announcing that the top four pairs would earn the infamous star, which can be stolen or given to another pair by the elimination challenge winner.

The Daily Challenge was called "Frenemies" which tasked the challenges with passing three checkpoints consisting of mud, ice, and slippery balls respectively. The star which is synonymous with a ticket to the finale was awarded to the top four performers in The Challenge All Stars: Rivals which included:

• Devin Walker & Leroy Garrett
• Ashley Kelsey & Dario Medrano
• Nany Gonzalez & Turabi "Turbo" Çamkıran

However, all the other 9 pairs could face the peril of elimination in episode 2 of The Challenge All Stars: Rivals which will air on February 5, 2025, on MTV. The fans would get to see all these nine teams vying for the spot in the show. It would be intriguing to see how the elimination rules will pan out.
