The episode, titled You D-Rival Me Crazy, saw Turbo trying to take up the living room space for himself, even though other areas were available.
The players will have to keep tolerating each other to remain eligible to win the ultimate grand prize of $300,000.
At the beginning of the episode, we see Turbo getting frustrated with the other cast members as they move around their shared common space. His sleep cycle is getting disturbed, but he refuses to take his business elsewhere—like an actual room available to him.
On the other hand, Shane and Veronica struggle to decide whom they want to eliminate. Shane is against Frank and Sam, while Veronica trusts them. She was hoping to take a weaker team to the finals.
The challenge was simple enough to understand. It was called Shooting for the Stars, and the rivals were quite literally asked to shoot for the stars.
They started by solving a puzzle. Whoever solved it first allowed their teammate to jump on a four-wheeler and then run off a plank. They were required to touch a star, but the catch was that it hung over 12 feet high. You guessed it—the team that completed this first won and avoided elimination.
The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals Episode 8 - Turbo and Melissa
Turbo was a major annoyance throughout the episode, as he refused to take an actual bed but instead made his space on a communal sofa. When he woke up the next morning, he was angry that people had left their dirty dishes around him.
He also picked an issue with Adam farting, which led nowhere. Soon, Melissa got involved and picked a fight with Turbo, confronting him at the club.
Nany, Turbo's partner this season, was already getting tense because his behavior was making them a bigger target among the other players. However, she advised Melissa to approach him calmly and start by apologizing if she wanted Turbo to listen. Melissa, however, ignored the advice and got into a full-blown argument with him. On top of that, she also left food in his living room space, further pissing him off.
The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals Episode 8 Recap - Who won the challenge?
Adam and Steve woke up determined to nail the challenge. They succeeded and won immunity from elimination after being in a tough spot for a while. The house vote went to Dario and Ashley for elimination.
However, Adam and Steve were quite willing to put up Nany and Turbo instead. The nominated teams were asked to solve a puzzle game to fight for their place in the house.
We can hate Turbo, but his puzzle-solving skills have to be appreciated. Nany and Turbo came out victorious, happy, and full of sunshine. She even called him her "best partner."
As for Ashley and Dario, there was only one winning spot, and it was already taken—leaving them as the eliminated pair. The two had dated years ago but had stopped speaking. However, the show brought them back together, and after this episode, they decided to leave as friends.
