The Challenge 40 Reunion Part 2 Recap - TJ makes a surprise visit

The Challenge 40 Reunion Part 2 was released recently and continued the drama. It revealed secrets and hookups that viewers were not ready to see. The host rolled out unseen footage from the show of Josh and Laurel. They can be seen in the pool holding hands.

The two have never agreed about doing anything but the clip says otherwise. Laurel tells Nia that she and Josh had made out. She tells her that Josh had been drunk when he asked Laurel to make out with her and that it wasn't the first time that something like this had happened between them. However, at the reunion, Josh confirms that they are just friends now.

The Challenge 40 reunion viewers had seen an alliance called Bananas' Angels. The members get to have a halo and wings but Laurel wasn't given any. Later Tori and Banana got into a friendly argument over who should be awarded the credit for creating the Angels.

The topic got to talking about the win of Jenny and Rachel. Tori then said that the duo would have won nevertheless because they are highly talented.

Jonna then got to talking about her point of view where she felt like nobody had her back during the season. She wished she could have competed with the cast from Era 2 because the current one "forced her" to self-nominate herself into an elimination.

Then we see Bananas and Laurel go against Ryan and Emily. Emily is upset that she got eliminated due to Laurel and Ryan supported her. However, Bananas claimed that Ryan is the weakest in Era 2.

The biggest surprise was when TJ decided to video call during the reunion. But he happens to have trouble with the technology and Jonna helps him figure out the functions.

Bananas go nuts on the screen where TJ's face is at. The Challenge 40 reunion viewers saw the entire puzzle fiasco that went down earlier this season on which TJ's face was on. Bananas throws a pillow at the screen and screams,

"Who's sucking whose a** now, buddy?! He knew it was me the whole time."

Amanda had made a reunion appearance that we saw in the last part. She voiced her opinion by saying that Averey need not be at the reunion as it didn't matter. She wanted Ashley and Nelson who were not present among other cast members.

The Challenge 40 Reunion Part 2 Recap - Who was voted the GOAT?

The cast then voted to crown two GOATs, one male and one female, from The Challenge 40 reunion. After the voting was done, the title went to Rachel and Jordan. More arguments started on the episode among the team who felt like the selection was wrong.

Tori claimed that it should be Bananas who was the GOAT at The Challenge 40 reunion for being a showman and Jordan for being tough during the finals. Bananas claims that the results were based on the show's finals only.

By the end of the episode, we see that Tori and Cara Maria reveal how they became friends on the show. The two had been brutally honest with each other and connected emotionally after that which fixed everything between them.

Cara told everyone that Tori blessed her by eliminating her. It was because how the finale was too water-based. She then gifted her a pillow which was a symbol of her unblocking Tori on social media.

At the end of The Challenge 40 reunion, Bananas was pranked yet again as he was called on to say a toast and then the episode just cut off and ended.
