The Bachelor season 29 finale aired on ABC on March 24, 2025. The episode saw the winner of the season and the one who won the heart of our bachelor, Grant Ellis.

It all boiled down to two women, Litia and Juliana. Both had chemistry with Grant, and thus, he was very confused until the end. However, proposal day made him take his decision and give away the final rose.

Firstly, we saw Litia coming to meet with Grant. The two have shared precious time and even talked about a future together.

During this week's episode, Litia met with Grant's parents, and they all seemed to be going along well. That is why it shocked all the viewers when Grant decided not to choose Litia as her fiancée.

Later in the episode, Juliana came to visit Grant. The Bachelor was sure of his decision and proposed to her. She, of course, said yes, and the two got engaged on the show. Their previous dates together have been fun, and during one-on-one time, it was obvious that Juliana was the right match for him.

The Bachelor Season 29 finale recap - Grant dumps Litia

The finale started with Litia arriving at the podium. She was the first because this would give Grant a chance to tell her in person about his choice, before he gets engaged to the one he has chosen.

Litia put her case and emotions forward first in front of Grant and said how she sees a "forever" with him. However, he made his feelings clear to her in a second by saying,

"Litia, I love you very much. I want to give you everything you deserve, but I’m not your person. My emotional connection is stronger somewhere else."

This soured their relationship as Litia was shocked at not being the one for him. She even claimed that Grant had led her on till the finale, only to say no to her at the end. Previously, the bachelor had told her how much he loved her and that she was his number one choice at the moment.

During their previous dates, there were other instances, such as the one where Grant wanted to shut down the show because he was very sure of Litia, that made her question if he was lying to her all the time.

Before leaving, however, she told him he was a "different" person than she thought. Grant was unable to reply to the same. She said,

"For me, the switch-up is crazy... I just want to be clear. I’m confused and I'm sad, and I'm mad."

Earlier in the episode, we saw Grant pull up with a Neil Lane ring and had made her decision to pick Juliana out of the two options he had. He talked about seeing a "forever" with her in a confessional.

Juliana then arrived at the podium in a pink/orange bejeweled dress and delivered her final speech to Grant, where she talked about her feelings. Everything became even more beautiful when he reciprocated those feelings and sat down on one knee to pop the question that we have all been waiting for this entire season.

He told her how he thought of her as his best friend throughout this experience and revealed an emerald-cut ring. Juliana was overjoyed and said a "million times yes" to the proposal. Later, it was revealed that the two would shift to Boston as Juliana is originally from Massachusetts.

The Bachelor season 29 has concluded. The episodes are available to watch online via Hulu.
