The Amazing Race Season 37 will be released on March 5, 2025, on CBS. The network, a few seasons ago, started experimenting with the 90-minute episode format and that is here to stay.

In the series, various teams are featured with the task of racing around the world. What makes it exciting is that the viewers get to be a part of different cultures and native folks from different countries.

The Amazing Race sets challenges for the teams that they have to navigate through to win. These include but are not limited to, interacting with locals, solving clues, mental and physical challenges, traveling, and limited budget.

The team which can conquer it all and arrives at the final leg, is awarded with a prize of $1 million. This multiple Emmy-winning series has been around since 2001 and now viewers are anxiously awaiting season 37.

The Amazing Race Season 37 Details

It was in May this year that the network confirmed Season 37. There are hints from CBS about potential new twists that will be featured in the new season. While talking about the same, Phil Keoghan said,

"We know the audience loves the airports; we know the audience loves mixing things up. We know that the audience loves going to new places, like Slovenia in Season 35. We got so much great feedback about Slovenia, so expect to see some new destinations, and also trying some new things."

The Amazing Race started filming the new season in the same month. It was revealed that the teams started from the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures located in Los Angeles.

This time, the teams will be flying over to Hong Kong for the race as their first destination. Later in May, filming moved over to Osaka, Japan.

The third leg of Season 37 was filmed with the team flying to Sabrosa, Portugal. The finale happened in Miami around June with the filming done.

When asked about the details for The Amazing Race Season 37 in August, Phil Keoghan stated,

"We wanted to do a season where there were a few surprise elements, so I guess that's what I would say would summarize what we did. There's just some things that come of left field for the contestants and I think the viewers will find it fun. Not necessarily new twists but just surprises."
