The Agency on Paramount+ is deepening the web of espionage and spying with each episode.
The story follows a CIA agent, Martian, who is back in London after a 6-year spy mission in Ethiopia, leaving his lover Samia. He accidentally meets her back in London and thus begins a game of International intrigue.
In The Agency Episode 4, we learn the truth about Osman's identity and Samia's visit to London. Martian and Henry are desperate for any intel about Coyote, which will likely speed up in the upcoming episodes.
This political thriller stars Michael Fassbender, Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard Gere, John Magaro, and Jeffrey Wright in titular roles.

What is the release date for The Agency Season 1 Episode 5?
The Agency episodes drop weekly. Episode 5, titled Rat Trap, will be available on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 9:30 pm (ET) / 2 am (GMT) on Paramount+. The episode will also be available on December 22, 2024, on Showtime, with a Paramount+ add-on.
The logline for The Agency Episode 5 reads as follows,
''Feeling the heat from Langley, Henry sends Owen to hunt for clues in Minsk; Danny's work with Reza generates an unexpected outcome; Sami is approached by Mr. Dalaga about a sensitive issue; Martian, seeing the size of the stakes, sets a rat trap.''
As seen in the previous episode, Martian is desperate to know Coyote's whereabouts, and it seems that he is suspected now. The mystery behind his disappearance will be revealed in the upcoming episode.
In addition, with each passing episode, we go further to discover what happened with Martian and how he ended up with a scarred face with a British woman interrogating him in a hospital.
What happened in The Agency Season 1 Episode 4?
The Agency Episode 4 touches on Sami's visit to London under the ruse of the UNESCO cultural program. While Martian suspects she is tailing him, it is revealed that she is here to attend the secret meeting between the Sudanese representatives and Chinese delegates to discuss a possible alliance to resolve the Civil War in Sudan.
We also learn that Osman is part of the ‘Mukhabarat,’ or the intelligence service of Sudan, and is tailing Sami to ensure she does not communicate with anyone in London. However, he gets suspicious when he sees her talking with Martian.
Adamant about knowing Martian's identity, Osman ambushes Sami at her hotel room and violently warns her to coerce Martian's identity. Left with no choice, she blows his cover and tells Osman about Martian's Paul Lewis cover.
Martian and Henry are trying to get intel on Coyote, a missing CIA operative. In a diplomatic meeting with the Belarusian delegation in London, Martian spots a silent and potential KGB agent, Mikhail, and arranges to meet with him at a pub in the night.
The two meet up, and Martian offers a lot of money in exchange for any intel on Coyote by calling him his 'bike' (for code). Mikhail accepts his offer by taking his number. The Agency future episodes will unfold information about Coyote and what happened to him.
