Shark Tank mentor Robert Herjavec opened up about the power of money and immigrant mindset while in talks with Grant Cordone in his October 4, 2022 discussion session.

In the business clip, Grant Cardone shared via his YouTube channel, Robert Herjavec revealed his thoughts on various essential topics. One of the segments featured in the video clip focused on money's power. As the host, Grant, asked Robert about "money mindset" and his journey, Shark Tank mentor revealed:

"The mindset of money for me is about the mindset of possibility. Because the difference between when I was poor and when I was a little richer is not the amount of cash I had in my account. It's the ability to learn how to get there."

He added:

"Knowledge is the key that separates people from having and not having. It's not who you know. It's not what you know. It's not the fancy degree. It's not who your parents were. It's the ability to learn. That's the power of money."

While in business talks with Grant Cardone, Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec faced the question:

"How important is money mindset... to your journey and what you would think to the entrepreneur or somebody that's coming up from the mud, they're trying to make it. How important is it getting the money mindset right?"

In response, Robert stated that it was not about "envy." He then recalled belonging to a "communist" country and how people's mindset there worked.

Referring to getting on the path toward success, the Shark Tank mentor shared:

"Like if I see you driving down the street in a Ferrari and I've got to beat up all Toyota power to you, man. Like if I can get there, show me the way. It's not so much for me about the mindset of money."

According to Robert Herjavec, the "mindset of money" is about the "mindset of possibility." It was because the difference between when he was poor and when he was "little richer" was not the amount of cash, rather, it was about his ability to learn how to get there.

Further in the discussion, when the host asked Robert about his idea of "freedom," he responded there were two points. The first one was "the limiting factor." While explaining that, Robert recalled how hard his father worked.

As he grew up watching his father working hard, Robert would "never" complain about "hard."

"Hard does not exist in my vocabulary. That's the immigrant mindset. That's the good part of it. Here's the bad part of it. Nobody worked harder than my dad. My dad never became rich."

Hence, the Shark Tank investor learned that if you don't work hard, you'll never get rich. However, "just because" you work hard doesn't mean you will become "wealthy." Working "hard" and "smart" is also necessary.
