Tex Mex Motors Season 2, a Netflix original premiered on November 22, 2024, and released all eight episodes in one go. The show follows the lives of Borderland Customs crews who are known for bringing "radical restorations" in the cars and turning them into a new, shiny model. In season 2 Rob Pitts aka Rabbit returned along with Marcos Scooter, a car scout, who together made a great team.

Some new members were added in Tex Mex Motors season 2 which included Jaime Hjelm, a seasoned mechanic along with Wesley Zackary who is a "master fabricator". In the last episode, the team of 4 Borderland Customs car enthusiasts takes on the challenge of beating the new competition emerging in the market by organizing a big auction event.

They decided to organize one of the biggest events in El Paso to auction their highly possessed Lamborghini. The venue for the event made quite a stir along with the guest list, causing Jaime to push Scooter to "think out of the box" and find another venue in El Paso.

The episode also highlighted the restoration of the 1984 Chevvy C10 Squarebody and an intense bidding war to acquire the high-demand car. The official synopsis of Tex Mex Motors season 2, finale episode reads:

"Wes gets a diagnosis on the Diablo. Scooter reveals a secret that fires Jamie up. Rabbit stires up a bidding war for the '84 Chevvy C10 square body."

How do things unfold for the Borderland Customs crew in episode 8 of Tex Mex Motors season 2?

The Borderland Customs crew had some big plans for the finale as they hyped the fans with the 1977 Lamborghini Diablo restoration and auction at the art show being organized by event coordinator, Kimberly at El Paso Del Norte.

Besides this grand event, the other highlights included the Chevvy C10 sale and the bidding war started by Rabbit when he took the restored pickup truck around the city to show off and lure the best buyer for it.

As the final episode of Tex Mex Motors started, Scooter and Rabbit witnessed an established who appeared as their competitor as they noticed a Mexican number plate on a Trans-AM in the store. As Rabbit inquired about the car, he got to know that they had restored 8 such cars and were inspired by the Borderland Customs.

The duo hid this news from Wes and Jaime and rather focused on the Chevvy C10 Squarebody which if restored could earn them a huge profit. With Lamborghini being a time and money-consuming project, the team decided to work on the Chevvy C10, as Lamborghini was handled by the specialist.

Elsewhere in the episode, Scooter and Rabbit were trying to sort the guest list out and invite the crucial buyers with money. During the auction, the crew was able to get $215,000 for the Lamborghini which was less than expected by Rabbit. The deal was important for them as they were relying on this sale to help them register themselves as a profitable company.

However, they missed the mark of $500,000 and made $482,400 as their overall profit after selling the Lamborghini Diablo.

As the event came to an end, Scooter and Rabbit were offered a deal by Chema, a friend of Scooter, who wanted a 35% cut for any car that Netflix's crew would ask. Both of them told about the offer to Wes and Jaime, and the crew decided to sleep on the thought. The finale episode of Tex Mex Motors ended with a tribute to Rob Pitts aka Rabbit who passed away due to cancer this year in August.
