The Israeli spy series Tehran has captivated audiences worldwide since its debut in June 2020. Created by Moshe Zonder, Dana Eden, and Maor Cohen, the Emmy-winning show follows Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, played by Niv Sultan, as she navigates dangerous missions deep in Iran. Like Fauda, this series has crossed cultural boundaries, appealing to a global audience.

The first season’s success led to a groundbreaking deal with Apple TV+, making it the platform’s first non-English language series. Season 2 brought even more star power with Glenn Close joining as Marjan Montazeri, a cunning British mentor to Tamar.

Season 3 picks up right where the explosive second season ended. Tamar, after defying her Mossad handler and assassinating an Iranian general, is left stranded in Tehran, pursued by both the Mossad and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

Episode 4 of Tehran Season 3 is yet to receive an official release date on international platforms. However, for Israeli audiences, the series airs on Kan 11, with episodes releasing weekly since December 9, 2024.

Release speculations of Season 3 Episode 4

Well, there is no information about the release date of episode 4, but episode 3 already aired on 23rd December. But in Episode 4, tensions rise as Eric Peterson’s situation becomes increasingly complex, forcing him to make difficult choices.

Whereas Tamar risks everything by getting closer to Ramin Gamsy, seeking his help to navigate Tehran’s dangerous underworld, and Nahid, caught in a web of lies and betrayal, faces desperation.

The season finale sees Tamar learning that General Mohammadi is on his way, prompting an urgent escape plan. At Peyman’s funeral, Tamar uses an aerosol weapon to target Mohammadi despite Mossad canceling the mission. Meanwhile, Marjan lies to the team, leading to chaos as Yulia pressures her to stop Tamar.

Nahid betrays Marjan, using the aerosol against her, leading to Marjan’s death. Tamar then remotely detonates Peyman’s bugged car, killing Mohammadi and others. Tamar and Milad flee, but tragedy strikes when Milad enters an escape car that explodes. Left alone, Tamar is forced to run, ending the season on a cliffhanger.

With Season 3’s delayed release due to the October 2023 conflict between Israel and Hamas, discussions about a potential Season 4 remain uncertain. However, fans hope the series will continue to explore Tamar’s journey and the evolving regional dynamics.

Tehran Season 3 has upped the stakes with new faces, intense storylines, and real-world parallels. Episode 4 promises will introduce more suspense, heart-pounding action, and unexpected twists. As Tamar continues her dangerous mission, viewers will be on the edge of their seats.
