Survivor Season 48: Who is most likely to win the competition, make a name and earn $1 million?

As of now, the remaining participants on the CBS show include:

  1. Cedrek McFadden

  3. Chrissy Sarnowsky

  8. Kamilla Karthigesu
  9. Mary Zheng
  10. Mitch Guerra
  11. Star Toomey

  13. Shauhin Davari

After Survivor Season 48 Episode 5 was released, the latest chart from Bet Online shows Kyle Fraser reached first place. His numbers jumped from +1400 to +180. He went from a 6.7% rise to a 35.7% chance of winning the game. With one hidden immunity idol that saved him, Kyle's chances of winning the show have skyrocketed on BetOnline.

Along with him, Joe Hunter moved from +220 to +500 since the second episode. His chances dramatically decreased from 31.3% to 16.7% within a week. Apart from him, Shauhin Davari went from +350 to +250 in just a couple of days. Shauhin's odds of winning also decreased from 28.6% to 22.2%.

For the viewers wondering how the chances of specific castaways skyrocketed while a few were dramatically decreased, here's the probable cause. The recently released Survivor Season 48, Episode 5, showed how Joe and Kyle led the victory. There wasn't that huge threat from Lagi or Civa tribes.

However, there was competition between the two, and as a result, there was the task of balancing the ball. At last, it came on to Eva Erickson from Lagi Tribe, who eventually failed to do so. Later, she got the ball rolling while Civa Tribe could not finish it. Fans witnessed Eva revealing to Joe about her autism and how she can't undergo stress.

That moment was when the host allowed Eva's tribemate to help console her. Later on, viewers witnessed how Eva and Joe had the secret alliance and how they planned to keep it a secret. From the infamous "California Girls" alliance consisting of Shauhin, Joe, and Thomas, the latter was eliminated through the fourth episode.

After the latest Survivor Season 48 episode, Joe has been on top, and his compassion for Eva has put him in the top position even more. Because of such reasons, Joe's chances of winning the Survivor Season 48 have plummeted dramatically. Despite everyone knowing about his and Eva's alliance, they now have a better opportunity to pair up and face the tribal council or any other challenges head-on.

The Sports Geek author, Kyle Eve, supports Joe, who is at +1000 towards winning the competition. Survivor Season 48 premiered with three tribes viz. Lagi Tribe, Civa Tribe, and Vula Tribe. The remaining castaways after the fifth episode include:
