What happened on Survivor Season 48 Episode 4?

On Survivor Season 48 Episode 4, the tribes were swapped while heading to a new challenge to secure their position in the game. In this challenge, contestants' strength was tested with the task being solely dependent on physical work. The Vula tribe was the first team that managed to complete the task before the given time limit however things took a different turn. They had to re-evaluate each step while sorting their puzzle pieces.

During this time, Civa headed to the next stage in the challenge, hence saving themselves from a potential elimination and securing immunity. This meant the Vula tribe was sent to the Tribal Council to make a final decision about who was to be eliminated from the show.

Kyle and Kamilla were the Survivor contestants who other contestants could sense had been plotting against one another. Thomas reassured Kyle that he could potentially form an alliance with him but not with Kamilla. The main plan Thomas had, was to send home Kamilla however not all players had their game strategy aligned with his.

Upon seeing this, the Survivor star considered using Steal a Vote to protect himself from being eliminated as he was unsure if Kyle and Kamilla would want to vote him out instead. Then, it was time for the remaining players to place their votes, three votes were against Kyle and two against Thomas.

As Kyle decided to use his Extra Vote which Kamilla gave him, and also played his idol on himself as per Kamilla's advice, he was saved from elimination. This meant Thomas was sent home in this episode.
