Survivor 47 is left with only eight contestants and episode 11, the latest released episode on November 27, revealed another elimination. In the last episode, Genevieve escaped a narrow elimination and fans witnessed Gabe Ortis leave the show by a 7-2 vote. After the elimination, the rest of the cast members became skeptical of their spots, as loyalty within the tribe started shaking.
Sue was affected by Gabe's elimination and upset with Carolina for betraying one of them. Kyle on the other hand understood that he needed to draw the line as Gabe was out there for him. Rachel explained to Sue that the survivors were targeting the Tuku tribe, and one of them had to leave.
Teeny, Rachel, and Andy decided to ally, which Rachel suggested Sue and Carolina join and called "The Underdog Alliance". These five decided to get Kyle, Genevieve, and Sam out.
The official synopsis of Survivor 47 Episode 11 reads:
"After 20 days in the game, battle lines are drawn and the stakes cannot be higher; the winner of a classic immunity challenge guarantees their spot in the final seven."
Later, in the episode, Rachel goes ahead to gain an advantage of "Block-a-vote", and also wins the Immunity Challenge, giving her an edge over the other survivors.
Survivor 47 star Rachel won the Immunity Challenge and influenced the elimination voting in episode 11
In episode 11, the stakes went up higher as the alliances started shifting and loyalties were being questioned. However, it was important for the survivors to maintain their relations with their fellow survivors to gain an advantage during the final voting in the Tribal Council. After the last elimination, Kyle became the number one target for most of the survivors.
However, Genevieve was the second option on the elimination list and feared her spot equally. As the episode progressed, Rachel got an opportunity to get on a boat and travel to the spot. The spot had a puzzle waiting for Rachel, which could let her win an advantage. Rachel was able to crack the puzzle within the time and won the privilege to "secretly block a vote from another player".
Upon her arrival back to the camp, the underdog alliance decided to hide the advantage from Kyle, Sam, and Genevieve. Later in the episode, Genevieve suggests to Rachel that they should focus on getting either Sue or Andy out, which makes Rachel realize Genevieve's true plans.
Jeff Probst then welcomed the survivor for the Immunity Challenge which had no reward in return this time. The challenge was to stack blocks in a way that read "Immunity". It appeared to be a lucky day for Rachel, as she won the Immunity Challenge too. Rachel held too much power in episode 11 which made her center during the elimination discussion in the Tribal Council.
Andy advocated for Kyle to Rachel telling her that Kyle could be a safe option as he was focused more on winning challenges. However, the majority was inclined towards getting Kyle out. Rachel avoided using her "Block-a-vote" power, and everyone else followed the previous discussion which led to Kyle's elimination from episode 11 of Survivor 47.
Survivor 47 aired episode 11 on November 27, 2024, at 8/7c on CBS.
